About 13.5 Mb PhilAbsolutely stunning in every way!The photography is amoung the very best that I have seen, beautifully composed, exposed and manipulated. I do not normally get excited with 'filter effects' but these images are superb and extremely watchable. Very well done indeed and an inspiration to us all. Please email me with details of this Mcmannus filter effect and where it can be downloaded.Ron WestMy email address Quote

PhilG Posted May 15, 2008 Author Report Posted May 15, 2008 Thank you for the kind remarks Patrick, Ron and Lin. Praise from you is praise indeed.I am lucky to live in a beautiful country where landscape photography is made easy. It seems that in Scotland you can point your camera in any direction and get a good image.Ron the effect was from Bob McManus on the Beckham Digitl Forum.See this for more detailshttp://www.beckhamforum.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1447Phil Quote

jfa Posted May 16, 2008 Report Posted May 16, 2008 I would like to echo all the positive comments posted above, this show is one of the best I have seen, well done Phil. The effect is stunning, I will be using it sometime in the future and your images are also superb. You do indeed live in a beautiful part of the world. One very tiny point, if I may, on the image of the wave breaking on a breakwater, (about 1min 20sec into the AV).There is, (I think), two birds in the sky above the wave and with the painting effect they appear to be dust spots rather than birds. The image would benefit if they were removed. Thanks for sharing a great AV with us Phil. Our camera club is having an AV workshop next month and I would like to show your AV as an example of what can be achieved if that would be OK with you? Quote
