New features in Beta 11:

+ Windowed mode works again.

+ Added "Pause when window of slide show becomes inactive" option (Project options | Main tab).

+ Customizing of left/right mouse buttons work again.

+ Exit on mouse move option activated again.

+ You can list slides using mouse wheel (see option in Project options, Advanced tab).

+ "Don't allow PrintScreen button to copy images" option works again.

+ "Permit control of show using keyboard" option moved to Advanced tab of Project options.

+ All actions of objects should work now.

+ "Run application after last slide" option works again.

* Fixed bug with crashing of VideoBuilder when disc label was longer than 16 symbols.

* Fixed several bugs with crashes in VideoBuilder or black screen instead of slides.

* Fixed bug in "Go to slide ..." action for objects.

* Fixed bug when "Show EXIF.Comment" text macros didn't work.

Beta 11A:

+ Added "Desktop" link in file tree (PicturesToExe and VideoBuilder).

* Fixed bug with background music when "Stop after last slide" option choosed.

* Fixed bug when PicturesToExe didn't accepted Deluxe registration key.

* Fixed bug when "Hide Navigation bar at startup" always was enabled even if uncheck it.

It's almost fully functional version. In beta 12 we'll activate screensaver option and "Pause at the end of a slide".

I can't guess what it is.

This option can be useful when you have a button and action to run some another EXE application. Slide show will wait when you come back again.

Wonderful. Just what I have been waiting for. All actions of objects should work now+ "Run application after last slide" option works again. And they do. Now I can really get down to creating introductory sequences for my programmes once more. Thanks a lot.

What can I say? Simply, congratulations to Igor and his WnSoft team of wonderfully talented people.

By the way, fully rewritten slide show engine (EXE) of v5.00 - 275 KB (instead of 254 KB of v4.48)

Only on 20 KB larger.

All included to 275 KB - built-in support of JPEG, built-in MP3 player, built-in PNG, GIF, two graphical engines (Direct 3D and CPU based engines). Also Aleksey and Pavel created compact and small libraries of code - result of several year's work.

Thanks for the great work, Igor and team. I do have a question. In version 4.48 there is the ability to check a box for a particular slide that says "show image". If this box is unchecked, the slide does not show, but acts like a blank slide. Is this feature going to be on beta 5, or is there another way to do the same thing? Thanks.

I agree with Howard. This was a useful feature for creating a "Blank" slide.

Just choose a slide, click "Objects and animation" button and press Delete button - it will delete main image and slide will be blank.

1 - In the principal window of PTE 5.0, with the bottom of the page on the right is a named box “Hold time points“.

Is my question that it is its principal use?

2 - In version 4.48 of PTE when the window “Project Options“was open and that we go on the mitre ”Screen“ found a quite practical option which one does not find on version 5, "Show transition effect to desktop after slide".

Think that this option will be restored?

1. The popup note says that "when this option enabled, sorting, adding, or deleting of slides will not affect (on) timepoints which you've set on the timeline according to music."

In other words, you can delete or add a slide without changing any of the timepoints on the timeline - just the identity of the images will change. However, this feature doesn't seem to work properly when deleting a slide from the slide list.

2. This has been discussed several times, and Igor indicated that it would be difficult to include this transition in v.5.

In Windows Vista this option "Show transition effect to desktop after slide" in fact doesn't work. Slide show will play as without this option.

Also even under Windows XP with hardware acceleration used in v5.00 this option could work with short flashing.

Because of this we didn't included it to v5.00
