  1. Hi, Thanks for your suggestions! We added VU meter and sound volume for a track or global soundtrack to our TODO list. I agree that these functions are important. Jean-Charles also asked me about VU meter feature recently.

  2. This is a good suggestion. Nevertheless, my suggestion is just another matter. Only recently I had a track with lots of clips, each one with an individual setting, and I wanted to reduce the overall volume of this track. I used the following workaround: I exported the said track as a wave file, and I inserted this file as a new track while muting the original track. Now I could change the volume using the envelope. It works, but it isn't a pleasant way to go. So. I would like to see a volume slider for the whole track, as we have it in Audacity.

  3. Hi Everyone, Thanks for your reply, I discovered what I was doing wrong. When publishing the slideshow, I needed to select the MP4 option instead of the first option which is for replaying on a computer. Michael

  5. I took some video of a local storm we had on Tuesday using my cell phone. I then used Video Optimizer to brighten and stabilize the video. I found that even with my limited skills, the program was easy to navigate. Congratulations Igor and team. I look forward to being able to access the Video Optimizer through PTE Rosemary

  6. Bruno, No worries, I understand. I've added to my TODO list these 2 options: - Audio waveform for trimming function. - Possibility to choose another built-in audio track from a video file.

  7. Me too! I can't imagine adjusting a video clip without having the audio tracks (with my Atomos recorder I often record on 2 different stereo tracks), and these tracks must be of adjustable height. Currently, PTE only takes into account the first stereo track, which forces me to go through Da Vinci Resolve to prepare my video clips. For the moment I continue to use Da Vinci Resolve to edit the videos, since unfortunately PTE does not offer me the tools I need. Igor, I am sorry to have to write such a negative message, because usually I greatly appreciate the work you do with your team and I am the first to promote it.

  8. Hi Igor, Thank you to your team for such great programs and for listening to users! I have a long-standing dream of functionality that I would like to see in both PTE and Video Optimizer. This is the ability to copy at least such settings as color correction. There are always a lot of numbers, it is difficult to remember them, you always have to use a notepad to make similar settings in another file. In Optimizer, so that you can copy the settings to another file. Or make it possible to replace a file with ready-made, applied settings. I used to make suggestions for such functionality in PTE, so that you can copy NOT ALL, but certain settings to another keyframe, as well as to an object on another slide. And I was offered several options, such as making a copy of a keyframe or a copy of an object or a copy of a slide, but believe me, I know and use all of these methods, but they are far from suitable for all tasks. As a result of my projects, I get such sheets of paper in which I myself then get confused. Maybe someday...
