  1. PicturesToExe 9 uses AAC codec for MP4 video. It's popular audio codec for videos. For AVI video PTE uses MP3 codec.
  2. Thanks for testing!
  3. Hello, Please try this version: https://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/topic/20375-picturestoexe-9014-beta/
  4. Hi, Please can you check work of PicturesToExe 9.0.14 BETA? This version includes many important improvements. Especially for encoding of video (see details below). Let me know: 1. How quick the installation window of PTE appears when you double-click on picturestoexe-setup.exe file ? The security check of downloaded file in Windows should take not more than 2-3 seconds. 2. Visual quality of video (sharpness of images) in comparison with previous version of PTE 9. It should be same. https://files.wnsoft.com/test/picturestoexe-setup.exe Reduced memory usage during encoding of a video. This helps to avoid a problem of missing images (black pictures) in a created video, if project contains many large images on one slide. Earlier you could observe a problem (black pictures) with a slide style "10 portraits" for large images. Fixed problem with freezing of the Objects and animation editor after copying/pasting some objects between slides. Fixed problem with non-working EXE presentations which are larger than 2 GB. Max allowed size is 3.9 GB. Fixed problem with missing “Help” custom window from projects saved in versions 8.0 and 7.5. Fixed problem with installation of PicturesToExe 9 on some computers.
  5. Thanks for this information. I'm glad that PTE works correctly now on your computer.
  6. Hi, Let me know: 1. What version of PicturesToExe you installed? 2. Version of Windows. 3. Did you use previous versions of Windows on this computer?
  7. Dave, OK, I will check again tomorrow. Remove CT from the global storage. Note, that if you have another project(s) where this CT was used, a copy of this CT included to .pte project file. So this you open this project, CT will be recovered automatically (as a local CT for this project only).
  8. Dave, I apologize for this problem. I still cannot reproduce the problem with exported and imported transition. We tested on several computers with different video cards. Can you give me exact step by step instruction? Other members probably will try too. Tauratinzwe, What video card installed in your computer?
  9. Thanks, I will explore this problem. PTE 9 uses new version of H.264 encoder with same parameters. Probably there are some parameters which we can change to add more compatibility with old TVs.
  10. Luc, How old your TV?
  11. MUR, I'm afraid there is no simple solution. You can check it only manually.
  12. Jill, This problem will be fixed in final version 9.0.14.
  13. Cedric, We fixed this problem. Please check the new test version: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/picturestoexe-setup.exe Now projects saved in old versions 8.0 and 7.5 with customized Help window will be correctly transfered to the new PicturesToExe 9.0.14 Beta
  14. Andrew, This problem is solved in the new test version: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/picturestoexe-setup.exe Can you check it?
  15. Thanks for the confirmation. You can use this version, it's stable. We'll release an official v9.0.14 with other improvements soon.
  16. Hi, We fixed this problem. Please try a new test version: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/picturestoexe-setup.exe In fact it was a serious problem which might occur with certain objects.
  17. Luc, Thanks, I confirm this problem. Yes, images are very large and it's better to reduce them. However this problem is NOT related with these large images. Even if I replace images using small images, the problem still occur. We'll investigate this problem. Probably the project file was damaged.
  18. Hi Jill, Thanks for this information!
  19. Yes, we consider adding of a Text box object in future version(s). It's in my TODO list. This object should help with typing of a text in PTE.
  20. Thanks, I agree. We'll try to rework this code in the nearest update(s).
  21. Thanks, Dave!
  22. Jose, Luc, Sorry for the delay! Do you have same problem with encoding a video for short projects (3-10 minutes) ? A difference between High and Normal option is only bitrate value. It's very strange that it doesn't work. What CPU installed in your computers?
  23. Tom, Probably we will add support of H.265 in future PTE. NVIDIA Geforce 1050 and 1060 are very good video cards for PicruresToExe! We have both these video cards at our office for work with PicturesToExe. I think that these video cards will cover all new features of future versions of PicturesToExe. Any effects with ideally smooth playback of presentations.
  24. MUR, Do you mean one computer? And a situation when you have several instances of PicturesToExe running together?
  25. Hi, We cannot reproduce this problem. Can you send me a test project in a ZIP archive? We'll check it. And tell me step-by-step how to reproduce this problem with your project. Thanks,
