  1. Hello, Did you try to optimize video clips? When you add a new video clip to the Slide list PicturesToExe suggests to optimize it. If you use large video clips (1920 x 1080), I recommend to create a MP4 video file instead of EXE.
  2. Hello, Some slide styles contain background pictures (for attractive view). When you apply such style, PicturesToExe 9 copies used images from this style to a project folder (projectname.resource). It allows you easily transfer this project to another computer, even if another installation of PicturesToExe 9 does not have this slide style. Your project does not depend on applied slide style. If you re-work your slide, delete it, or apply another slide style, PicturesToExe 9 will automatically remove projectname.resouce folder (when it's not necessary).
  3. Hello, Please let me know - what version of PicturesToExe you use? Do you always see this warning when you press Preview button? Can you try the latest version 9.0.10: http://www.wnsoft.com/en/picturestoexe/download/
  4. Hello, Yes, it's a side effect with selection of objects if Mask contains added to a slide. I tried to improve selection of objects insde Mask Stencil and Mask Content. We need to think if this algorithm can be re-worked or improved.
  5. Cor, Thanks for your reply!
  6. Hello Craig, You can copy and paste these symbols from web browser to PTE. For example: “Curly text” / ‘Text’
  7. Barry, Please try a new version- 9.0.11 Beta: http://files.wnsoft.com/test/picturestoexe-setup.exe It should solve this problem.
  8. Barry, Thanks! I easily reproduced this problem. We'll try to fix it soon.
  9. Barry, Thanks, Please try to reproduce these 2 problems.
  10. Barry, I downloaded this AV show and couldn't reproduce this problem. How much time passed between end of the AV show and the moment when you tried to delete the files? When you close PTE or EXE file, the program code performs de-initialization of 3D engine and release used memory. Usually it takes 1-3 seconds. Sometimes in some cases it may take longer time. Can you check again with this AV show and with other AV shows? Also Task Manager may show if an EXE file still works in the memory.
  11. Jose, I'm glad that this problem is almost solved. In PTE 9 we use a newer version of video encoders than in PTE 8. Video format H.264 is a very complex and includes many parameters and optimizations. Probably the new version of a video encoder uses slightly different combination of parameters. A fact that the new drivers partially solved the problem can indicate that a hardware decoder in your video card worked incorrectly for some reason. I will watch for this situation if other users will report about same problem.
  12. Jose, Currently I have one guess. All these video players use hardware acceleration. Probably hardware decoders (or drivers) work incorrectly for some reason. Please try to update manually drivers for your video card (NVIDIA or AMD?). It may help to solve this problem. I didn't hear about similar problem from other users yet.

    error

Jacek, I agree with previous advice. Please try to uninstall and then reinstall PicturesToExe. If the problem still occur, try to temporary disable your antivirus software. If you use not Windows Defender, it may disturb PicturesToExe to save an EXE file. However I didn't hear about a similar problem yet.

    error

Do I understand you rightly: If you give a new name for an EXE file - everything is OK. If you create an EXE file and overwrite existing EXE file, the program hangs up. Right?
  15. Igor

    error

Do you mean that this problem is related with a name of an EXE file and choosed disk?
  16. Yes, it's known issue. We forgot to add to before the final version, and it requires to add significant changes to the final code.
  17. Hello, Please check the following: 1. Project Options > Screen tab. Set "Unsharp Mask" option to "None" (0). 2. Open Objects and animation editor -> Properties tab. Select an image object and check "Edge antialiasing" option. It should be ON to show smooth edges. If the problem still occur, in the Properties tab, set "Sharper/smoother" to "0" (by default it's set to minus -100).
  18. Jose, Thanks for checking. Please let me know think about this problem. I will perform some experiments.
  19. Igor

    error

    1. Does this error message occur with all projects, or only with certain project? 2. Start a new test project with 3-5 images and 1 MP3 music. Try to create an EXE file. Will it OK?
  20. Jose, Please download and try 4 test video files: http://files.wnsoft.com/test/videotest.zip Let me know about a result.
  21. Jose, OK, I understood. I will send you several test video files today later.
  22. Jose. Thanks for the files. I could see only once this problem with Windows Media Player. Second time it didn't happen again. VLC and MPC HC players worked correctly. I created my MP4 video file from your project on Windows 10. Please check how to plays on your computer: http://files.wnsoft.com/test/Problema-01-2.zip Please note that PicturesToExe 9 is not officially compatible with Windows XP. System requirements for version 9.0: http://www.wnsoft.com/en/picturestoexe/download/ http://www.wnsoft.com/en/picturestoexe/requirements/ Windows XP could cause incorrect work of video encoders.
  23. José, 1. Please send me a test project (as short as possible) to reproduce this problem. All project files in a ZIP archive. 2. Screenshot with your parameters for video output (width & height of video, framerate, quality/bitrate). 3. Sample video file where I can see this problem.
  24. Please attach a screenshot of the main window. Also let me know - what edition of PicturesToExe you purchased - Deluxe or Essentials?
  25. Gary, It depends on file size of source audio files. For example, if original audio files are MP3 with 128kbps and you convert to 256kbps, the final size of an EXE file will be larger. This option is useful when you work with WAV files. Or if you mix audio clips on several tracks. Or you cut audio clips on the timeline. If you add single MP3 file without any editing, or add several audio clips on one track, this option would be useless.
