Gary, Normally, XboxApp should not disturb PTE. As I know Xboxapp is recording your screen in realtime and saves video. I have no idea why it works in background on many computers with Windows 10 by default.
-
Jill, Probably in the future PTE. We need to rework video decoders.
-
Since PicturesToExe 9.0.5 you can create UltraHD 4K video at 3840 x 2160. Windows 64-bit is required to create video with this ultra high resolution.

Please try PTE 9.0.5 Beta: https://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/19936-pte-905-beta-with-4k-support/

Hi, You can try PicturesToExe 9.0.5 Beta with experimental support of 4K UltraHD video output: http://files.wnsoft.com/test/picturestoexe-setup.exe All changes and improvements: The Objects and Animation editor displays full slide duration in the status bar. The status bar in the main window now shows a full path to a file for a selected slide. Fixed problem with incorrect work of an option “Use background of a slide” for a custom transition with gradient background. Fixed problem with some slide styles created in previous version 8.0. Fixed problem with a Text object in the Objects and animation editor when “Zoom” parameters could be turned on randomly in all keyframes. Other improvements.
-
Jose, We agree. It will be fixed in v9.0.5 P.S. Slide duration will NOT be affected.
-
Jeff, Please publish an example.
-
V9.0.5 Beta will be today for testing and discussion. In the O&A editor you work with full slide duration, not pure slide duration. The timeline panel display current slide + next transition.
-
Denis, This custom transition used the option "Perspective correction" + adjusted Zoom parameters. We removed "Perspective correction" option from PTE 9. It was incompatible with the Modifiers. This transition could be easily reworked - use only Pan Z animation. It will give exactly same result as "Perspective correction". Don't forget to disable Zoom animation. "Perspective correction" option was added to PTE 5 before appearing of 3D animation (in PTE 6).

Dave, Thanks, I confirm!

Dave, I didn't understand a problem with status bar in the main window. By default PTE display full slide duration for a selected slide in the statusbar. It works in the Slide list view and in the Timeline view. You can choose "Full slide duration" or "Slide duration" in the Preferences.
-
Denis, Thanks, I confirm this problem.
-
Thanks, Dave! This style uses interesting technique to create a negative (inverted mask).
-
Jose, The O&A editor will display "Full duration" in the next update - 9.0.5.

There is known problem with macOS Sierra 10.12.2+ and slideshows created in PicturesToExe 6.0 - 8.0.21. Slideshows do not start and only black screen appears. Solution 1: Download and install PicturesToExe 8.0.23. Or download new PicturesToExe 9. Open project file with existing slideshow and create a new presentation folder for Mac. Solution 2 You can repair existing slideshows for Mac using special free utility: https://files.wnsoft.com/soft/RepairMacPresentation.exe It works with slideshows in APP folder or in a ZIP archive created in PicturesToExe 8.0.0 - 8.0.21. The most likely it will patch correctly slideshows created in old versions 6.0 - 7.5, but we can't guarantee it. UPDATE. Executable shows created in PicturesToExe 8.x and 9.x will not work on macOS 10.15 Catalina or newer. Because the new macOS doesn't support 32-bit apps any more. PTE AV Studio for Mac will work on macOS 10.11 or newer, including Catalina. This new version should be available by end of 2020 year.
