  1. Barry, Presentations for Mac created in PicturesToExe 6.0 - 8.0.21 do NOT work on macOS Sierra 10.12.2+ PicturesToExe 9 is not affected. We'll release a special utility to patch existing presentations to get compatibility with macOS Sierra. It will be ready probably today or on Monday.
  2. Jose, Sorry, my personal message box was full. It works again now.
  3. Gary, PTE doesn't support these commands from Explorer menu.
  4. Please try PicturesToExe 9.0.4.
  5. Barry, We solved this problem in v9.0.4. Also this problem might affect some projects saved in old versions (8.0 and earlier). These projects could be opened incorrectly in PTE 9. http://www.wnsoft.com/picturestoexe/download/ Thanks,
  6. PicturesToExe 9.0.4 is available: Fixed problem with incorrect work of some projects/transitions saved in previous versions of PicturesToExe. Fixed problem with video clips 4:3 encoded at 1440 x 1080. Fixed problem with a wrong direction of a rotation for main images in the Slide list by Ctrl + F. Small improvements.
  7. Jose, 1. Try negative Blur parameters (unsharp) with other video files (30p). Will it work? 2. Do I understand rightly that negative Blur parameter (unsharp) works correctly for images?
  8. Gary, Can you reproduce this problem again with that instruction? I couldn't do it.
  9. Kathleen, Please let me know: 1. Does your project contains any video clips? If yes, try to remove video clips temporary. Does it solve the problem? 2. If the show freezes at same certain point, try to remove this image/video clip from a project. Does it solve this problem? 3. What size of created the EXE file which has this problem?
  10. You can select multiple objects with a mouse selection, or click to objects holding Ctrl key. Also you can select objects in the tree of objects using Shift or Ctrl key and mouse.
  11. Al, PicturesToExe 9 adds new keyframes with unchecked parameters by default. It's a great improvement of the new version. Because this approach allows to set only necessary parameters for a keyframe. If you late want to adjust some parameters, you don't need to correct all other keyframes. For example, you have 5 keyframes for an object. And you need to set Opacity 80% for all the object. If you later change you mind and want to set a new opacity 50% you need to correct only one keyframe, not all 5 keyframes. It will save a lot of time.
  12. I'm deeply saddened by this news. Maureen was my dear friend. In 2008 and 2010 by the invitation of Maureen, I visited the UK to participate at the AV festivals. I especially appreciated the hospitality of Maureen and Robert Albright. Maureen did so much for AV and especially for PicturesToExe in the UK. I will be very missed by Maureen. I hope and believe that she is in the better world now. My best thoughts and wishes with Maureen.
  13. I'm glad that it works now! We did it to separate a launcher from resource file with your slideshow data. The launcher is signed by a digital certificate as Apple requires now. It allows to easily run downloaded executable PTE presentations from the Internet.
  14. Thanks for the details. I could not reproduce this problem on our laptop with touch screen (Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro). I think that this problem exists in Windows 10, not in PicturesToExe. Because PTE doesn't work with multi touch API functions. I recommend to wait for next updates of Windows 10. Probably Microsoft will fix it. File kernelbase.dll is a component of Windows 10. I found many cases of errors related with kernelbase.dll
  15. Hi, PicturesToExe 9 should be compatible with macOS Sierra 10.12.3. I created a short test slideshow in PTE 9.0.3 and it works correctly: http://files.wnsoft.com/test/mac/test-mac.zip Please can you check again? Try to create a test show and check on macOS. Probably you launched an old file? If it still doesn't work, please upload your show in a ZIP archive. We'll check it.
  16. Gary, We'll fix this problem, thanks.
  17. Jose, 1. Your video card should be compatible with PicturesToExe 9. Negative value of Blur parameter (unsharp mask) should work for a created video file. 2. Unsharp mask set in the Project Options -> Screen should work for a created video file. Try to create a new test project with 2-3 images. Adjust unsharp mask and create a video file. Will it work now? Try to encode different resolutions - 1280x720, 1920x1080.
  18. Please let me know, where exactly this problem occur. In the main window of PicturesToExe, or in the editor of animation, or when you run fullscreen preview or EXE file with a slideshow?
  19. Gary, Please try to reproduce this problem and send me step-by-step instruction.
  20. Gary, I can't reproduce this situation. When it happens, try to click to any single slide in the timeline view or in the Slide list. It should activate "Objects and Animation" button.
  21. We apologize for this problem! 1. Does this problem occur when you watch your slideshow (in EXE file) or when you work with your project in PicturesToExe 7.5? 2. If the problem happens with an EXE file with your slideshow, can you send me this file to check? 3. If you have a project file for this slideshow, can you try latest PicturesToExe 9? Does it solve this problem?
