  1. Hi Tony, Thanks for the confirmation. I'm glad! We plan to release a new version soon.
  2. Hi Tom, Thanks, we'll fix this issue with Color profile field in the Mac version. Also we'll add more info about a file.
  3. Hi Gary, Under the same comparison conditions, HEVC encoders produce on 30-50% smaller video file than AVC (H.264) for the same visual quality. However real-time hardware encoders (in cameras) do not work as efficiently as software encoders on a computer. Hardware encoders compensate reduced quality by increasing a bitrate. PTE AV Studio by default uses more progressive encoding method - constant quality. It means that a video encoder analyzes every frame (content) and smartely increase or decrease bitrate for a series of video frames according content. A similar example, saving a JPEG image. You set a desired visual quality from "1" to "11" and resulting file size will depend on how many fine details are shown in your picture.
  4. Hi, Can you try a new version 11.0.3 Build 2 on your Mac? We fixed the problem with non-working text animation by words. https://files.wnsoft.com/test/PTE-AV-Studio.dmg
  5. Denis, I remember about your suggestion. Sorry for the delay.
  6. Hi Pascal, When the storage has many custom transitions (especially have transitions with many variants and embedded resources). Slide Options window may appear longer time. It should be the same in V10.X and the new 11.0. Probably you assigned different folders to store transitions for V10 and V11 ? Now we're trying to optimize loading of transitions from the storage. Probably it will be done for V11.
  7. Hi Ann, I guess that you used PTE AV Studio app to choose a file on your Mac? If yes, probably you called Open Project window? It allows to choose only .pte project files. To add images or videos, use the File Panel in the main window of PTE AV Studio. Or open the Objects and animation editor and then click Add Image/Video button to choose a file from your Mac and add to current slide.
  8. Thanks! I confirm this issue. We'll fix it soon.
  9. Hi Jean Claude, I'm glad that we solved that problem! Usually import of settings works correctly. PTE AV Studio simply reads configuration from an old version. Maybe some issue with file rights. Your license key works with V11, because you recently purchased the license. Please note that one license can be activated on 2 computers.
  10. I started a similar topic 10 years ago. You can try my demo project in the 1st post from a link below. The project can be opened in V10 or V11:
  11. Hi Nicole, I apologize for this problem! Please let me know - did you mean the latest update 11.0.3 and previous 11.0.2 worked correctly. Or you tried V11 for the first time after 10.X ? I recommend the following solution: 1. Uninstall PTE AV Studio 11 (all your projects and styles will be saved automatically). 2. Restart Windows. 3. Install PTE AV Studio 11 again (from WnSoft website). If it doesn't help, I recommend to update drivers for graphics card. Check Windows Update panel for new available drivers.
  12. Well, so both versions 10.5 and 11.0 don't work on your computer even with a replaced NVIDIA graphics card? Maybe this problem is related with a certain file or folder which are shown or selected in the File Tree / File List. Try to perform a new installation of PTE 11. Uninstall PTE, install PTE again, skip import of settings from any previous versions (it's important step). Now check how PTE works. By default, it starts with a Sample Project. Then try to browse some folder with your photos.
  13. Thanks, try to use PTE 11 in a trial mode. Does it work correctly on your computer?
  14. Do you mean 2 attempts to run PTE 11? Tell me in more details, what message you see?
  15. It's a strange problem! Can you try the newest version 11.0 ? You can install a trial version, just untick an option "Associate with .pte files" when you install it.
  16. Excuse me that we couldn't help you with this problem on the old AMD graphics. Please let me know when you replace this graphics card to a new one.
  17. Hi Denis, I'm glad that you solved that problem!
  18. Hi Denis, If I understood rightly your message you have 2 Mac computers, both with the newest Big Sur update. Right? I have a Macbook 12" with Big Sur and I updated it to the newest version 11.7.5 yesterday. On first glance, PTE 11 works correctly. Try the following solution: 1. Restart macOS. 2. Uninstall PTE AV Studio 10.5 and 11.0 (remove the App icon to the Bin). 3. Reset settings of PTE AV Studio on your Mac. Download the following special uninstaller and run it. For V11.0: https://files.wnsoft.com/pteavstudio/RemovePTEAVStudio.app-11-0.zip For V10.5: https://files.wnsoft.com/pteavstudio/RemovePTEAVStudio.app-10-5.zip Run this utility. Tick an option 'Reset PTE AV Studio configuration'. Confirm the uninstallation. 4. Install PTE 11 and 10.5 again from DMG package to Applications. 5. Run PTE AV Studio again. Let me know about results.
  19. Hi Jean Claude, Thanks for your patience with solving that problem. I hope that the new drivers for AMD card may help you. I don't remember other reports on the same problem during last 2 years. It's really unusual issue. Please also read my personal message which I've sent you 2 days ago. Let me know about a result. If you consider a new graphics card, I would recommend NVIDIA Geforce. It's the best choice for PTE AV Studio. You also will get a faster video encoder (with Hardware acceleration option). If you plan to keep the old desktop PC, consider Geforce 1050 (the cheapest solution). It's OK for 1920 x 1080. Geforce 1660 would be optimal for 1920 x 1080 screens. Geforce 3050 or 3060 would be the best choice for a new desktop PC, and especially for 4K monitors.
  20. Thanks for the details. Your desktop PC has AMD Radeon HD 6670 graphics card. It was released in 2011 and drivers are dated by 2015. I recommend to update drivers for your AMD graphics card. Firstly, you may check new available drivers in Windows Update centre. Or visit AMD website and follow their instructions for new drivers.
  21. Can you try to update drivers for the graphics card in your desktop computer? Before updating, please do the following. Press Win+R keys. Type "dxdiag" and press Enter key. Click the Save button and send me dxdiag.txt file. It contains the info about hardware and drivers of your computer. It may help us find a reason of this problem.
  22. I regret about this unpleasant problem. No need to reinstall Windows. I've meant uninstall PTE AV Studio 10.5 and reinstall again the app. I recommend to update drivers for graphics card. If it's NVIDIA Geforce - visit nvidia.com and get the latest drivers. The same for AMD graphics. Let me know about a result.
  23. Well, in this case, I recommend to uninstall PTE AV Studio 10.5. Restart Windows. And reinstall again PTE AV Studio 10.5. (All your projects and styles will be saved automatically)
  24. Try the following: 1. Add a shortcut for PTE AV Studio 10.5 to the desktop. Or simply reinstall the app. 2. Click right mouse button on the shortcut and call Properties window. Add a text -alternate3d after the last quote in the field of program file name For example, on my PC this command line: "C:\Program Files\WnSoft\PTE AV Studio 10.5\Main\PTEAVStudio.exe" -alternate3d 3. Run PTE AV Studio 10.5 Let me know about a result.
  25. Hi Jean Claude, Try the following solution: In the main menu > Parametres > Preferences. Choose "Systeme" tab. Tick an option "Variante pour compatibilite...". Click the OK button and restart PTE AV Studio.
