  1. Jean-Claude, It's a logical bug. I can fix it only make necessary to press Enter key after typing of a new value. Dave, I remember about this suggestion. It should be special window with default settings.
  2. This feature is no longer required. Please look on attached screenshot.
  3. "Diaporama numerique" The book "Diaporama numerique" has been published in France by the most known French publisher for computer books - "Editions First" (June 19, 2008). 4. I just checked up with virustotal.com online service. Avast, GData, Ikarus antiviruses already fixed this problem with false detection in latest update (2008-07-18). Mediafire.com again accepts slideshows for uploading.
  5. I'm sorry about this problem! We just sent requests to Avast, G-Data and Mediafire companies. I hope they will quickly fix this false detection.
  6. Dmitry, Just no need to change installation folder for 99% cases. I wouldn't like to complicate logic of the installer, it may adds bugs. Xaver, Thanks, I'll update right now.
  7. Oh, sorry, I forgot about it. You can't call directly PteViewer.exe due to registration mechanism.
  8. Hello! Now every new version of PicturesToExe (5.0, 5.1, 5.5) automatically suggests a new separate folder for installation. And you're able to use two versions together (mainly to make sure that a new version works fine before leave an old version). So we can't remember last used installation folder because it should be new for a new version (by default). But you can change it.
  9. I only would like to say about technical side of this usage of PicturesToExe. That's a normal variant (very large size of image is another question). When you click "Preview" button it works same way.
  10. Please try updated version 5.52 http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....ost&p=54925
  11. Updated build 5.52 (July 15, 2008): http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe.zip (5 MB) * Fixed problem with too high memory usage in the main program of PicturesToExe, especially in case of large images of slides. (The problem doesn't affect on created EXE file of a slideshow.)
  12. I just added this correction to future version - Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V shortcuts. And Del or Shift+Del depending on current view - Slide list or Timeline. Thanks,
  13. Please don't create EXE file of slideshow more than 2 GB.
  14. Excuse me, Xaver! I've edited my previous post.
  15. Updated build 5.5.1 (July 8, 2008): http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe.zip (5 MB) + Updated language files: Chinese, English, Farsi, French. * Fixed bugs in fullscreen view of Slide list opened from Timeline mode (selecting slides with pressed Ctrl key, deleting slides by Del key). * Fixed incorrect work of "Arrange All Points" function when no music. * Fixed bug with displaying effect time ("About 3 seconds") in "Effects" tab of Project options.
  16. Xaver, I wouldn't change more in v5.5, please let raise this question later for v5.6 I did Del key for cutting slide(s) in the Timeline because some users very asked for this.
  17. Please try updated 5.51 Beta: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe_beta.zip
  18. Peter, I'll fix both bugs in the nearest update 5.5.1 Thanks,
  19. I'll enable music/sound playback when you click "Play" button in Objects & Animation window in next v5.6. Not sure about waveform, but at least music will play.
  20. Jim, As I've understood, version 5.1 works fine and the problem only when you try to use newest 5.5? If yes, please uninstall 5.5 again, and make new installation without importing settings from previous version. Do you see welcome screen right after installation (demo slideshow in small window with white borders "Welcome to PicturesToExe...")? Then try to add another JPEG images for first slide. How it works now?
