  1. Thank you, it's a simple bug. We'll fix it in Beta 3.
  2. Gary, We will try. Right. DVD players don't support playback of next-generation H.264 video (all presets in PicturesToExe). You can play this file on PC, Mac, PlayStation 3, and some advanced multi-format players with HDD (TViX, Popcorn A-110, etc)Andreas, Masks requires more powerful video card. I played your demo on my PC with Geforce 6800 - very smooth animation, but my display is 1024x768. What screen resolution of your display? We'll think probably it will possible to optimize this code.
  3. I apologize for this delay! Did you receive automated email or email with license key? If not yet, please let me know order ID of your purchasing. If both letters didn't arrive probably there was a mistake in email address or anti-spam filter blocks these emails.
  4. Dave, Please use our recommended player - Media Player Classic HomeCinema (includes all decoders and very smooth playback). To play in other players you need to install decoders. And don't forget use only Beta 2. With previous Beta 1 you might get worse quality and slow encoding due to mistake in the code.
  5. Steve, Please make sure that you use Beta 2 (see caption of main window of PicturesToExe).
  6. I just posted Beta 2: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe_beta.zip (6 MB) It should solve the problem with creating video.
  7. I just posted Beta 2: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe_beta.zip (6 MB) It should solve the problem with creating video.
  8. Beta 2: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe_beta.zip (6 MB) * Fixed problem with locking of the program at beginning of encoding video (for PC, iPhone, Youtube, Vimeo). * Fixed bug if set rarely used aspect ratio of a slide (more than 9:1) * Fixed bug with thin black line in encoded MP4 video for iPhone/Youtube. * Increased limit of bitrate to 24 mbit for "HD video for PC and Mac". + Activated "old" features: - Print/Save dialogs in slideshows (if they used). - Screensaver mode. + Updated French language file. + Various small improvements.
  9. Gary, It's necessary to find and terminate all apr.exe processes with Task Manager or restart Windows. If you had problem with video in Beta, it tried to encode video file in background with high CPU load.
  10. Dave, Gary, I just found reason of this bug and reproduced the problem. It's really stupid bug. Beta 2 will be within a hour.
  11. Gary, Thanks! That's important info. By the way, could you please check up "old" feature - Create AVI file and then click Preview button. Will it work?
  12. It's free. Just resulting image looks a little more soft. But it isn't blur: You can read more about mipmapping in Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIP_mapping
  13. Dave, In new "Create HD video for PC..." feauture we use built-in video encoder and it's impossible to change it. I still have no idea why installing of external codec pack helped.
  14. I would like to ask other users who have problem with creating video in the new beta - please wait a little and don't install 3d-party codec packs. Or we will not able to check up how an updated beta works
  15. Dave, It's not user mistake, PicturesToExe should include all necessary built-in libraries. We'll investigate why it might happen. Thank you! Ray, It's same as you choose quality for JPEG in Save for Web feature of Photoshop. But we'll remove "%" symbol. You're right. We'll increase this limit. Thanks. Only progressive video. Interlaced video will possible in future Blu-Ray output (next version(s)). While not. Encoding to H.264 already very slow process.
  16. A demo how "Mip-mapping (anti-shimmering)" option for objects works in version 5.6: http://www.wnsoft.com/test/MipMapping.exe
  17. Dave, Gary, I just prepared a special Beta version: http://www.wnsoft.com/test/apr-deluxe_beta_17-10-2008.zip Please try to create HD video again. If it doesn't work, please find a log file in VideoBuilder folder and send me. This file usually located here: C:\Program Files\WnSoft PicturesToExe\5.6 Beta 1\VideoBuilder\VideoBuilder.log
  18. Jill, Currently it's impossible, maybe later.
  19. Thanks, Jean-Pierre! I'll read your suggestions and will reply tomorrow. In fact the new engine supports 3D for objects - but this feature locked for next versions
  20. Dear friends! Please read my notes about replacement for Original size mode: http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....ost&p=57567 I need more information why my suggested replacement could be less useful than Original size mode. Thanks in advance!
  21. Thanks, Tom! We just fixed this bug with thin black line in future Beta 2.
  22. Peter, Thanks, waveform for O&A in my TODO list, but not for v5.6, sorry. Xaver, Difficult question. Because of bugs of ATI, users will create slideshows with less smoothness of animation, how good it? Cèlou, I remember about this request. But it's serious change in the code of PicturesToExe. Russian translation is terrible, sorry! Please use English translator only
  23. Tom, Please try to reproduce it with one slide's test slideshow (remove other slides) and if problem exists please send me sources files of this project in ZIP archive. Also what aspect ration of this slideshow - 4:3. And did you set "Pan and scan" option in MP4 video output ? I just fixed it for Beta 2. Thanks!Dave, So you started PTE, opened some project, and choosed "Create HD video..." and you see no window of video export? Or window of video export appered successfully and you start encoding, but don't see window of progress? Gary, Please try how old feature of PTE - Create AVI - works in this beta. Mary, I'm sorry to say, but ATI change their video drivers so often and strong and I discarded my idea to write own color gamma fix. It worked too unpredictable. If I had enough money to buy ATI/AMD, my first step will be fix that bug in ATI drivers. Gary,Dave, What version of Windows you use and what video card. Thanks in advance!
  24. Thank you for your responses! Xaver, I don't know, because smoothness of Pan/Zoom effects are worse than in true fullscreen mode. Same result as if you use windowed mode. Is it OK?Cèlou, Please see my response here: http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....ost&p=57567
  25. Vimeo is continiously working on improvements. We'll write to Vimeo about this problem. Also it's possible to download original MP4 video file (free registration required).
