  1. Eddie, Ralph, Thank you! We'll fix these bugs in Beta 3.
  2. Try to pack EXE files with slideshows to a ZIP archive, move ZIP file to USB flash drive and unpack on a laptop with Vista. Will it work correctly now?
  3. Example of simple slideshow with individual colors for normal/hover/pressed states of hyperlinks and buttons: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/show/Links_in_v51.zip (600 KB)
  4. Added to Beta 2. Let's try it.

  6. Limey, Thank you! We'll try to solve this problem. David, Did it crash during encoding of video, or during burning of DVD disc?
  7. It seems that old video card installed in your PC. But even in this case if you use 1280x1024 images and no animation (static picture) slideshow created in version 5.0 should play as created one in v4.4 For smooth Ken Burns effects (Pan/Zoom) modern video card required. Or create DVD-Video disc which will play ideally on any PC or player.
  8. Ray, 1280x720 standard allows both modes: - 25/30 frames (PAL/NTSC) - 50/60 frames (PAL/NTSC) 60p means full 60 frames. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/720p
  9. Did you notice vastly reduced time of encoding in VideoBuilder? Version 5.1 Beta.
  10. Ralph, I confirm this bug. And it will be fixed in beta 2.
  11. Thanks, I'll try to do it in v5.2 Added to my TODO list.
  12. Ralph, Do you mean "Save As" feature in VideoBuilder? We'll look at this problem and I'll write you later. Thank you! fuzzy, It sounds logically. I'll try to add it to the next beta. Thanks.
  13. Most likely your mail server blocked attached file with the key. Please let me know your Order ID and we will send it again in ZIP archive.

  15. I just sent you PM message.
  16. Slideshow engine in version 5.1 almost same as in v5.0 we only added color for hover/pressed states of Text/Button objects and "Wait for a key press..." option. It's very minor changes and even beta release should be reliable. Probably in v5.2

  19. The most likely some slides have too short time interval. For example, if as experiment you set 4 seconds time interval for all slides and this problem will not appears, it will indicate that problem in close time intervals. Large images requires (3000x2000) more long time interval, for small images 1280x1024 you can set more short time interval. It's actual for EXE slideshows. For DVD slideshows you can set any time intervals.
  20. Thanks, Brian. I didn't perform complete tests with HD format yet, but I suppose that antiflicker required for 1920x1080i format (Interlaced video) only. And probably no need to set antiflicker filter for 1280x720p format. Because 720p provides full 50/60 frames per second without interlacing. I'll do more explorations in this direction.
  21. I recommend to use antiflicker filter for HD format. Just I wanted to say if you need to get absolutely identical to original picture you have to untick this option.
  22. Bart, Large packs of codecs often cause various problems. Better to install only necessary codecs. Try to temporarily rename "cfhd.dll" file in C:\Windows\System32 folder. Also google for "cfhd.dll crashes".
  23. PicturesToExe 5.0 renders AVI in High Definition format 1920x1080 without any losses in sharpness and details of a picture. All that you need - prepare images in 1920x1080 size and uncheck "Antiflicker filter" in AVI window before encoding.
  24. First beta of PicturesToExe Deluxe 5.1 will be published next Monday.
