Sorry, I'm not sure that I rightly understood your question and described problem. I checked the code. On every Save Project command, PTE AV Studio performs the following simple steps: 1. An old .bak file is being deleted (if existed). 2. Existing ProjectName.pte file is being renamed to ProjectName.pte.bak 3. Saving a new ProjectName.pte file. P.S. Note that user shouldn't rewrite .pte.bak file directly (by replacing .bak file manually), it breaks steps described above.

Hi, We cannot reproduce this issue yet. Can you try to reproduce this problem in a folder where only 5..10 images and videos. If the problem will occur again, please send me a list of file names in this folder. I think that it's somehow related with certain file names/order. And also let me know sorting order in the File Panel (if you changed it).

John, 440 vector icons included in version 11.0 are based on symbols from Webdings and Wingdings fonts (available in any version of Windows and macOS). You can use more symbols from Wingdings 2 and Wingdings 3 fonts manually by adding a text object. It will work only on Windows version of PTE AV Studio.

In PTE AV Studio 11 we introduced Quick Style. Using a Quick Style you can easily mute sound for a series of video clips: 1. Open the Objects and animation editor for the first slide with a video clip. In the Properties tab for a video object choose "Mute". 2. In the main menu > Slide > choose "Create Quick Style". 3. Select one or several other slides with video clips and choose "Apply Quick Style".

Hi, Thanks for sending me the ZIP archive. After unpacking I see: - "Test Zoom" folder. I couldn't open two projects from this folder, becase it doesn't include all linked files. - Another ZIP archive "balletje bekertje zoom 2 pte_Jan9-2023_13-33-50.zip" was successfully unpacked and I opened the project on our Mac Mini with Apple M1 chip. I could successfully create a MP4 video with HD quality. I used 1920 x 1080, 60p, High quality setting. And I encoded 2 versions - with and without "Hardware acceleration" option. Let me know what video settings you used on your Mac? If it possible, attach a screenshot. Try the following. Unpack the ZIP archive with a project which you've sent me, into a new folder. And then open the project. Try to encode a HD video as you did earlier. I guess that one possible reason of that problem (freezing in the middle of video encoding) - some file was located in a folder where PTE AV Studio has no rights to access a certain file(s).

I recommend to change (update) again a link to an external editor in the Preferences > System tab > Set Graphical editor I just checked how it works on my desktop computer. I chosen Pixbuilder Studio editor and it worked fine for images selected in PTE AV Studio 11.

Aleina, Thanks for sending me a copy of your Styles and Transitions folder and screen recording. I could reproduce this problem now. It seems one one or several transitons provokes this issue with the storage. We'll try to fix it quickly.

I tested on our another Mac Mini with Apple Silicon and macOS Ventura 13.1. Papyrus font is installed by default (by Apple, OpenType TrueType font). PTE AV Studio 11 shown correctly a text caption with Papyrus font. If the problem still occur, send me a simple test project - only one blank slide with a text caption. And screenshot.

Mark, Please ask your friend open Fonts utility on Mac, choose Papyrus font and show details information. Send me a screenshot. Also let me know version of his macOS. Here is info for my installed Papyrus font which works correctly with V11:\
