Just uncheck "Pause show when window of slide show becomes inactive" option in Main tab of Project options and it will work as you want. Slide show will not pause when you start another slide show.

Howard, We just fixed this bug in our code. The problem happened when font name was longer than 16 symbols. We will publish updated beta 15 today later.

If you want to create 16:9 video for DVD, please set 16:9 aspect ration in Screen tab of Project options. And 853 x 480 (in AVI output window) for NTSC disc. 1024x576 for PAL disc. But video convert which you will use should understand that this AVI file 16:9 and to correctly pack to to DVD picture 720x480 (NTSC) or 720x576 (PAL). The more simple way use VideoBuilder which can create and burn 16:9 video.

Howard, Excuse me, but I don't understand this problem. Please tell me in more details what a difference if you use Lucida Calligraphy font and say Arial font? If it's visual problem, please attach screenshot.

Currently I have no ideas why File and Slide lists and Preview work slower that in v4.48 We almost didn't modify this code and on many PCs where I tested I didn't notice any difference. Do you really sure that v4.48 and v5.00 beta 8 right now work faster than v5.00 beta 13? If we could test on NAS, but I don't know where to find it in our city.

1) Please make a little another test: - Start PicturesToExe - Disable File Tree. - Set Thumbnails view for Slide and File lists. - Close PicturesToExe - Start it again. - Click Preview button. How long it will generate preview? 2) Another test. Same as above, but disable thumbnails for File Panel (leave thumbnails only in Slide list) Restart PicrturesToExe. How preview will start now? 3) Disable thumbnails in Slide panel (leave thumbnails only in File list). Restart PicrturesToExe. Try to Preview. p.s. I tested with images located on attached network disc and it works perfectly.

Dominique, In the next beta 14 we'll add new option "Loop this slide" and your slide show with first slide as menu will work more logically as animated menu on DVD disc. Beta 14 will be probably tomorrow. Also please re-create this slide show with latest beta 13A - it will fix a problem with too quick appearing of second slide.

Please temporarily disable File Tree in PicturesToExe (Main menu | View | Show File Tree), restart PicturesToExe and try again. Let me know about result, please. Also how fast starts EXE file with slide show if you placed it on Network Attached Storage unit?

Ricky, Did you try latest beta 13 of PicturesToExe v5.00? All EXE files - main menu and other EXE files should be created in beta 13 for better result.

Please open Main menu | View | Advanced option and set unchecked "Use hardware accelleration in Editor and Video" option. It will solve this problem on your PC. I think that some software/hardware of your PC conficts with windowed mode of Direct 3D we use by default in Objects and animation editor. I'm sure that our code written correctly and I have no ideas why this problem may occurs, sorry. Maybe installing newest drivers for your video card will solve this problem.
