  1. Dominique, I'm sorry, but probably it will be possible only in future. Even for DVD quality it will requires powerful video cards, but HDTV clips will not play even high-end PC with newest video card. Because during transition effects program should mix two videos if add two video clips. Maybe we will realize this feature but only for DVD-Video and AVI output. Because we can't guarantee reliable playback in real-time.
  2. Excuse for this mistake Alena's answer. All users who bought Personal or Business license for PicturesToExe, will continue to use for free all future versions of PicturesToExe v5.00, v6.00 and etc. For VideoBuilder (for all users) we think to limit license to 2 years of free upgrades. And then necessarity to buy Upgrade again or use last version which was released during this two year's period. We still thinking on this question. p.s. we plan to buy HD-DVD/Blu-Ray libraries and (probably new video encoder) for VideoBuilder.
  3. Jim, I remember, but I leaved it for v5.10 or v5.20 We plan big improvents for timeline window and I would like to implement this feature with other similar improvements.
  4. Jean-Pierre, Yes, mask will affect on all embedded objects to mask. When we will work on this feature, we'll disuss here all details.
  5. It will be possible in PicturesToExe v5.10 or v5.20
  6. Dominique, We like your Camera effect demo, I shown it to our team. I download and watch all slide shows I can find. When we see such wonderful works we want make PicturesToExe better and add new features.
  7. I recommend laptop with ATI/NVIDIA video card with at least 128 MB of own video memory (not shared memory from system memory!). NVIDIA - Mobile Geforce 6600 or higher NVIDIA - Mobile Geforce 7600 or higher ATI/AMD - Mobile Radeon 9600 or higher ATI/AMD - Mobile Radeon X1600 or higher
  8. Dominique, Wonderful show!
  9. Lin, It can be a bug, because of this I moved this topic to main forum. I also sent you email.
  10. OK, I'll set disabled this option by default, And probably global option for new images who want to use this option by default.
  11. Peter, I just improved this moment. For example, when you in O&A editor and you image object is Picture1.jpg and name of this object - "Picture1". Now if you replace this image to Picture2.jpg, object name automatically will be updated to "Picture2". If object name is unique - you changed it manually (say "MyImage"), PicturesToExe will keep old object name.
  12. Thanks. These tests (with hardware acceleration and without) exactly show that the problem in response time of a display. Not in PicturesToExe.
  13. Peter, I think it's problem with display's response time. And 16 ms. or 8 ms. don't say truth. For example, my LCD Sony SDM-M51 display has 50 ms. of response time, but in fact it has response time better than many 16 ms. displays I've seen. Download this file and run both EXE files: http://www.wnsoft.com/test/Box.zip (500 KB) Please let me know about result.
  14. Dominique, When I added reply to one topic, it unexpectedly was moved to another forum section. Because of this I suspect it can be a bug in the forum. I'll watch for this moment.
  15. Unfortunately it's a bug in ATI drivers for Windows XP. And my headache. ATI ignores color gamma settings in fullscreen mode which you adjusted for desktop. We can't get an answer from ATI when they will fix this problem. On January they promissed fix it in the future but didn't write when exactly. Maybe we can all together prepare petition to ATI?
  16. Thank you! Excuse me, that I still didn't reply on your suggestions and ideas! When we prepare release candidate in week or so and solve last several problems I'll begin reply on your messages. And please don't worry, here all ideas well placed in one section and I'll regularly visit and read your suggestions.
  17. Is this problem solved now? In beta 12 we did 0% of CPU loading when slide show not in foreground (or paused) it may improve starting another slide show from menu. In beta 13 we'll additiolly improve this moment and it should fully help.
  18. We apologize about this stupid bug in beta 10! I'm happy that it works now. I recommend you use latest beta 12.
  19. I think will be at least several beta versions. I hope we will release v5.00 in 3 or 4 weeks (when will solve all current problems).
  20. Markus, Richard, Thank you for the help! Newest Beta 12 fully solves this problem with synchronization.
  21. PicturesToExe Deluxe v5.00 Beta 12: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe_beta.zip (4 MB) New features in v5.00 http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4327 New features in Beta 12: + Visual improvements in Screen tab of Project options window. + "Perspective correction for Zoom" option is set by default for all objects. + Various small improvements. * Fixed problem with synchronization on some sound cards. * Fixed problem with cropping of left side of Text object with some fonts. Please post bug-reports in special topic: http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=6455
  22. We removed customization of text comment for some slide because you can do it in Objects and Animation editor now. And you see result immediately on the screen.
  23. Matrox video card far not so fast as NVIDIA or ATI. Matrox good in 2D, but work in 3D mode is very slow. And large 1600x1200 screen resolution too difficult for slide show with Pan/Zoom effects.
  24. Colin, I apologize for this problem and delay! You mistakenly placed order for Personal license ($24) instead of "Upgrade to Deluxe" ($20). I just refunded this order. Please order it again ("Upgrade to Deluxe"). This mistake happened because earlier it was necessary to manually choose "Upgrade to Deluxe" from a list when you opened registration web page. Now in latest beta 11 we corrected the registration link and it automatically sets "Upgrade to Deluxe". I just sent you your VideoBuilder registration key.
  25. Barry, I just posted new article "Windows Vista and PicturesToExe" to "Tutorials and Articles" section of the forum: http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....st=0#entry41106
