With help of Lin Evans, we found today that some antiviruses remove last double quote from reg. key file. It's a reason why key arrives damaged! We'll try to analyze key file and recover it.
-
No plans at this moment, sorry.
-
volker, Thanks, both moments will be realized in beta 11 bjc, I'm grateful for your response! I think that we realized two variants. Quick presets - for beginners. And fine adjusting with own speed parameters for profi. Every user will choose his favourite way. We're discussed two years non-linear speeds and interface of this window and it's the best solution we found. And we would not limit professionals and provide them all necessary tools. I almost didn't work on speed paramters. My colleague Sergey wrote this code for me.

We already wrote main code for adding of MPEG2 files to VideoBuilder, but we don't have enough time for testing it right now, it may delay release of v5.00. So it will be activated in the next version 5.1

What version of PicturesToExe you currently use? I think the problem in incorrect device choosed as primary device for sound output. Please check settings in Control Panel -> Sound and audio devices -> Audio tab. Try latest v5.00 beta 10: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe_beta.zip (4 MB)

I've updated my PteShow demo slide show and included Navigation bar. All text labels created in PicturesToExe using text objects in Objects and Animation editor. EXE file: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/show/PteShow.zip (8 MB) Source files of this project: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/show/PteShow_sources.zip (8 MB) Try also new Copyright logo/image feature. This image stays over all slides and especially semi-transparent PNG gives excellent effect.

Excuse us for this problem! I just sent the key again in ZIP archive.
-
Richard, We'll try to solve with problem with fast slides in beta 11. It is only a logical problem.
-
Al, We solved that problem with synchronization of second music track. Please try and let me know. Lin, We also found solution for the problem when sound card returned wrong time values. Now no problem with smoothness, I hope.

PicturesToExe Deluxe v5.00 Beta 10: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe_beta.zip (4 MB) New features in v5.00 New features in Beta 10: + You can adjust non-linear speeds (Accelerate, Smooth, etc) for Pan/Zoom/Rotate effects. + Navigation bar works again. - New view of Navigation bar with shadow. - Many new parameters. - Fade in/out effects. + Copyright/logo image can be added again. + Tiled image background works again. + "Display slides in random order" option works again. + Mouse cursor option (autohide, hide, always show) work again. + Pause function. + Space key and Ctrl-P for Pause in a slide show. + Activated actions on Button click: home, next slide, previous slide, go to slide, help, print, exit, pause. Actions for Text/Image objects will be added in beta 11. * Fixed possible problem with smoothness of Pan/Zoom effects which could appear in previous beta 9. * Fixed problem of previous beta versions when sometimes on closing of a slide show sound "click" might occur. * Improved reliability of VideoBuilder during burning of DVD disc. In this beta "Run application" actions for object still don't work - it will be possible in beta 11. In this Beta VideoBuilder requires registration key. You can buy upgrade on our web site. We will send tomorrow free registration keys for VideoBuilder to all beta-testers who sent us at least one bug report. Thank you.

Dear Dominique, Excellent news!

Please wait for beta 11

Thanks! Ok, we'll leave this question to next version with more right name. Now I leave this name for this option: "Synchronize slides and music".

zooming/camera Movement problem on large pictures
Igor replied to volker's topic in General Discussion
I'm think it's too large image. 18245 x 2415 image = 18245 x 2415 x 4 bytes per pixel = 176 MB in video memory. -
It seems that sound card returned incorrect time values. We're thinking now how to prevent this problem with smoothness in case of this situation.

In version 5.00 as you might notice slides always exactly synchronized to music. So old "Synchronize slides to music" option should be removed. But as in v4.48 and in v5.00 "Synchronize slides to music" also control behavior of music during rewinding of slides. I don't know how to better name this option. - When this option ENABLED: If you go from 5th slide to 20th slide, or from 5th slide to 4th slide, music also rewinds. Like you rewind position of playing in DVD player. Music linked to particular slides. If you adjusted show of slides to sounds of a drum, even after rewinding of slides - this synchronization will remain. - When this option DISABLED: Music always plays independently from beginning to end of music, you can rewind slides, but music will not rewind. Also only in this mode Personal music playlist to slides can be added. Please advice how to better call this option? "Synchronize slides and music" or "Lock music to slides". "Keep link of music and slides". Or another more right and exact name?

Customers who bought license for PicturesToExe v4.48 and earlier can use v5.00 and all future versions of PicturesToExe for free. To use VideoBuilder in PicturesToExe Deluxe they should upgrade to Deluxe edition - $20 For more details please read our web site: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/special-offer.htm

Dear Lin, Please don't worry! I just sent you email with special version. Please reply me.

We're going to fully solve problem with unique fonts later in future versions.
-
There is a problem with unique file names. Many software catalogues publish download URL on their web sites. When new version published: 1) If we keep old files (e.g. pte448.zip), visitors of those website will download old version of PicturesToExe 2) If we delete old file, visitors will not able to download the file at all. It's a know problem and I'm afraid there is no one good solution. I recommend you rename ZIP archive after downloading and probably it will solve this problem. Since v5.00 beta 9 each version of PicturesToExe installs to separate folder and can be uninstalled individually from Add/Install list in Control Panel.

Next beta 10 will be most likely in 2-3 days (Navigation bar, non linear speeds for Pan/Zoom/Rotate, textured background, mouse cursor options, pause). Fully functional beta (release candidate) of v5.00 will be within 7-10 days. (Windowed mode, RunApp actions and activated several other "old" options) We expect to prepare final release of v5.00 in 4 weeks (if where will be no unsolved problems or bugs).

Yes, it is paradoxical case when video card works slower than CPU based engine. Mosaic 900 x 900 - it's almost two millions of triangles per frame and 60 times per second. Disable "Hardware acceleration" option and you'll see that this effect will work much faster. We can vastly speed up this effect in the next versions using hardware acceleration, but optimized effect will work only on latest video cards (2003 and later).

I just published a little updated Beta 9A: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/apr-deluxe_beta.zip (4 MB) + Portrait photos (with rotate flag in JPEG EXIF) supported again. * Fixed bug of previous beta 9 with impossibility to set Rotation angle more than 360 degree. * Fixed bug of previous beta 9 with incorrect wave form (on the timeline) on some music files. * Fixed bug of previous beta versions where customized Startup window (of slide shows) didn't appear. p.s. other improvements will be in coming Beta 10 we're working now (most likely on the next week).

It's impossible, because we use scalable objects. And real (internal) font size dynamically generates on the fly for particular screen resolution.

Usually waveform file should be deleted after closing of PicturesToExe. In your case it didn't occur. It's a reason of this problem. PTE loaded an old waveform temp file again and again. I'll check up related code.
