Hi Steve, We've download your MP3 audio file and checked with PTE AV Studio 10.5, I didn't notice any problem with a sound. It seems to be OK. Check the About window. What exact version of PTE AV Studio you use? The latest version is 10.5.9.

Hi Jill, Thanks, we'll check this problem. A quick reply, just in case: make sure that only one text object is selected in the Tree when you adjust text animation. Because it's possible to edit common text animation for multiple selected text objects.

Hi, Intel Xe Graphics offers a basic performance, especially for high resolution screens (QuadHD or 4K). Some heavy effects in PTE AV Studio may show reduced frame rate, not so smooth playback in a fullscreen preview or EXE shows. I recommend to consider any modern NVIDIA graphics, which works in 2-3 times faster than Intel.

Hi Jose, Excuse me for the late response due to my vacation previous week. I recommend to try version 10.5.9, as we could this this problem in one of previous updates. You can install a this version into a separate folder and untick an option "Associate .pte files with PTE AV Studio". Also skip import of settings on first run. Now you'll have a second version of PTE AV Studio and you main version 10.0.11 won't be affected. Check version 10.5.9 with your project to see if this problem if solved. Let me know about a result.

I guess that you purchased PicturesToExe more than 11 years ago. If you think that we should send you a free license key for the new product and new version 10.5, write me a personal message. We'll send you a free license for the standard license 10.5, not the Pro license, sorry. Then you can upgrade to for the Pro license (75$) and use it with your Mac.

Hi, In Beta 6 today we improved a preset "Waves" for a Mask Container with a Displacement Map effect. Now you can adjust absolute angle of a displacement effect (from 0 to 360 degree). And adjust a direction of waves (horizontal or vertical waves). It alows to create waves with longitudinal displacement (as in previous Beta) and waves with transverse displacement. You can see an example of using shear waves in the new "Dissolve with Waves" transition. Note, that if you earlier used built-in preset "Waves" and "Circle Waves", you need to check their settings, because we changed some parameters.

Hi, In PTE AV Studio 11 Beta 6 we included 2 new built-in transitions in a new group called Displacement Map: - Dissolve with Waves - Circle Waves Try these new transitions today. Slide Options (or Project Options) > Transition tab > Displacement Map group.

"On more thing" In PTE AV Studio 11 (Beta 6) we added drag'n'drop in the Tree objects in the Objects and animation editor. You can reorder objects using the mouse cursor by dragging one or more selected objects up or down, or onto a different parent object. Try this new feature today.

A good suggestion. Regrettably the code library which we use for decoding webp images doesn't support animated WEBP format, yet.

Hi, I'd like to remind that PTE AV Studio 10.5 supports images in WEBP format. A great benefit of this format is a transparency (alpha channel) with a lossy compression, like a JPEG. It allows to save very compact files with transparency. PNG with a transparenct is an old good solution. But it doesn't works well for a compression of photo realistic images with transparency. Usually file is very large, due to lossless compression. WEBP offers possibility of lossy compression like a JPEG keeping transparency layer. These photo realistic images usually smaller than PNG in 3-10 times. A very good idea to use them in slide styles or EXE shows. If your image editing app doesn't support export to a WEBP format, you can use a free online image editor/converter: photopea.com
