Versions 11.0 Beta and Release Candidate install into different folders and different shortcuts in the Start menu. You can simply uninstall Beta version in Windows Settings to make sure that you have only Release Candidate version.

UPD. When you work as usually with your Mac and crashes occur, check memory usage of V11 RC3 in Activity Monitor. Probably memory leaks occur with certain files - HEIC or MTS videos.

Hi, Did you have these problems with crashes with previous stable version 10.5 on your Mac with Apple Silicon? If you didn't use v10.5, please download and install it from WnSoft website. Also can you try to work with a project which doesn't include any HEIC images, or MTS videos (only JPEG/PNG/TIFF or MP4 video in H.264 or HEVC format). Will crashes occur now? We didn't observe any crashes of V11 Beta on our Mac Mini with M1 chip last several months. 2. I confirm the problem your HEIC image. We'll check the code. Thanks. 3. Can you send us a sample .mts video file? Upload to WeTransfer.com or Google Drive. I remember that .mts is a raw transport video stream and more heavy for a playback in realtime. If this video in 4K@60p format, it may cause this problem. We optmized playback for H.264 and HEVC video formats.

I'm glad that you solved that problem! Can you send me this custom transition to explore it? P.S. After updating Windows 11 to version 22H2, my new desktop PC cannot go to sleep mode, it wakes up instantly. Some fault with a new update.

UPD. I just updated my home desktop PC with Windows 11 21H2 to the latest 22H2. And also updated NVIDIA Geforce 3060 drivers. All is OK. Project Options, Slide Options, Styles and Themes windows appear instantly in PTE AV Studio 11 RC3. Probably other users with Win 11 can check for the described issue?

Thanks for these details. Your computer is very good and should work fast with PTE AV Studio 10 or 11. Can you check other windows - About (in the Help menu). Preferences (in the main menu > Settings menu) ? Try to update drivers for your NVIDIA Geforce graphics. Also restart Windows 11 firstly (if you usually prefer Hibernation/Sleep mode). I'll update my Windows 11 to 22H2 to compare results.

Hi, Both windows open very fast on our computers. Create a new simple project which contain 5-10 images. Open this project in version 10.5 and then in the new 11.0 RC3. Do you see a time difference between these version for opening the Project Options or Slide Options? Probably you observe this issue with a certain project? Also let me know a configuration of your computer: version of Windows, CPU and graphics card.

Hi Cor, Thanks for this info. PTE AV Studio depends on quality of graphics drivers. And some heavy process (high CPU loading) which works in background of Windows 10/11 may cause the problem of jerky playback. If any problem occurs with v11.0 Beta, run previous stable version 10.5 and compare results. I recommend to restart Windows and repeat testing between version 10.5 and 11.0 Beta. After reading this forum and reports from users, I see that the new version 11.0 RC2 version has the same stability as version 10.5. So we hope to release the final version soon.

Thanks for letting me know. I fixed this problem for the future RC3 version. Language file should contain UTF8 prefix (BOM). You can fix this issue right now manually. Replace German.ini file in Program Files where PTE AV Studio 11 is installed. German.ini

Hi, Creating a Displacement Map effect you might observe visual defect on edges of a Mask container: double of pixels (jelly effect). This side effect occurs because the effect shifts (takes) pixels outside of the container. In this case, the outermost pixels are doubled (repeated). To avoid this side effect, apply hiders on left, top, right or bottom edges which reduces displacement effect on the edges. You can use a Rectangle object with a gradient color (128,128,255). Ed, It seems that the problem with sound recording in Audacity. Probably other members will help you solve this problem. We don't use Audicity on Mac.
