"Cancel" button discards any changes (even if you've deleted slides) in the timeline window. But you are right, there is no Undo feature in PTE yet. We plan to add Undo for any actions in the future versions. By the way, if I remember correctly you are almost first who request this feature V4.40 larger on 46 KB than v4.31. So after 20 versions program become larger on 1 MB

I just posted possible solution in another thread: You can do it by another way right in v4.31 or v4.40. 1) In a main slide-show use "Run application and exit" action. 2) In second slide-show. Project options | Advanced tab | Set checked "Run application after last slide" and write file name of the main slide-show. If you need to open main menu not on first slide, write necessary slide. For example: "C:\MainMenu.exe" 7 (where 7 is number of necessary slide which will be shown when slide-show starts) 3) Save project and close PicturesToExe. 4) Open .pte project file of the second slide-show. Find opt_runapponexitiflastslide parameter and write 0. I.e: opt_runapponexitiflastslide=0 Now it will work exactly as want.

Thank you for sending me test slide-show! I also see that error message. It's a very funny error, because in sync'ed slide-show withOUT "Permit control of show" option Navigation bar will not shown at all. But "Auto hide" feature tried to show/hide absent Navigation bar So if you set "Permit control of show" option or with usual not sync'ed show, Auto hide feature will work fine. However it's a bug, and I've fixed this moment in beta #6.

Ok, I very glad! I just sent you additional 3 new strings for translation. Please include it and send me one united translated file. So is translation for "Dutch Belgian" language? Maybe old translation was created for "Dutch" (not Belgian )? Please advice me how PTE should loads these language files: If Languge="Dutch Belgian" then Nederlands.ini (your united translation) if Language="Dutch" then ??? (maybe old translation?)

Please explain me concerning Dutch language translations. Currently we have one first translation in all previous versions of PTE. Also we have received two new translations from: Victoria Down and from Cor Van der Kinderen Our development system recognize two variations of Dutch languages: SUBLANG_DUTCH SUBLANG_DUTCH_BELGIAN As I've understood, previous translation contains many mistakes and we remove it? But how we should insert new translations?

Tom, Thank you for testing "Run app." function. We'll block and these commands you wrote about. Also please give me exact string of command with cmd.exe. I just checked cmd.exe is not allowed more. Mike, Yes, we're writing new engine for slide-show and will try to optimize something in this direction. Pre-caching is good, except cases when too many slides located closely.

Andrew, Yes, this reason why we don't hurry with adding of Pan/Zoom, we're exploring now all technical questions to find better variant. It's a long work.

Ok, so we can prepare final release of v4.40 within a week or two (if no bugs more)? Our new large task (we're already working on it) - new engine for slide-shows to provide Pan/Zoom effects, animations, etc. I think before new version we will prepare v4.45 with possible updates and small new features.

Multi Resize v1.00 http://www.wnsoft.com/files/soft/MultiResize.exe (210 KB) It's a my small free utility. Probably I'll improve it in the future with new functions. You can quickly resize many images and/or convert to JPEG/BMP with high quality algothitms of resizing (Bicubic) and high quality Bicubic Sharper resizing (Unsharp Mask). I didn't write these algorithms, please say thanks their authors! It's very simple program, so creating of this utility took several hours.

Marianne, I've fixed this moment and this info will be shown (in beta #5) on the fly as earlier. Jill, Presently can't say about locked slides, maybe later. I've added this idea to my list. Thanks! Integration of the timeline to the main window is a subject of future versions. Probably it can be realized later! We like this idea, but it's difficult to do right now. In beta #5 "New transition" will does only inserting of a new transition point (as in previous version). (Currently when all points added it moves nearest point.) For now I suggest the next ideas: 1) "Insert Slide" button in the timeline window. It will show fullscreen file panel (as you press F3 key in the main window). And when you selected one two new images you press "Insert" button and this fullscreen window will be closed. Now you move mouse to specify position on the timeline for inserting those new images. 2) "Replace image" action in popup menu (of time-line). 3) Maybe "Automatically add transition points for new slides" option. So Andrew can disable this option and always all transition points will be added only manually.

Don't worry, Granot! "Run application..." action will be fully functional as earlier.
