  1. Daniel, Rasterizing to PNG was removed about 8-9 years ago. I understand your concern and I have one idea. Rasterizing to PNG is not ideal solution because it had a fixed pixel size, not optimal for all monitors and resolutions. We think about possibility to include vectorized data (curves of letters) to a .pte project, if author prefer this mode for certain text objects with unique fonts. This idea is added to our TODO list.
  2. Daniel, You can transfer a created EXE show or .pteav show to another PC or Mac. Original fonts will be kept. The same for created MP4 videos. To transfer a source project (.pte file) to another computer, firstly you need to install the same unique fonts and then open the project on another computer. PTE uses fonts available in Windows or Mac, built-in fonts or custom fonts installed by user.
  3. Thanks, I confirm both problems.
  4. Hi, Please send me 1-2 sample videos.
  5. Hi, Please send a request here with details about your computer and version of Windows: https://www.wnsoft.com/fr/support/ We need more details to help with your problem.
  6. Hi Dave, If you use "Run Slideshow" command you need to select a show in .pteav format. Create shows in this format in the Publish menu > Show for Mac. To choose a file with a show, click on a small triangle button below "Run Slideshow" box. If you choose "Run Application or Open File", you can choose any file. But we don't recommend this variant for Mac. Use the first option described above.
  7. PTE AV Studio 10.5.5 is available for PC and Mac Download: https://www.wnsoft.com/pte-av-studio/download/ Or use Auto Update feature: Main menu > Help > Check for Free Updates. Fixed problem import/export of slide styles which contain a comma in a style name. Fixed problem with high memory usage in the editor of a custom transition when a slide buffer is used multiple times. Fixed problem with the “Go to slide…” command when using a slide name set by default (a main image name). Fixed problem with freezing during video encoding when embedded video clip has a very short duration (about 1 ms).
  8. Yes, I agree with your thoughts. Initially we decided that majority of users who will use slide styles are beginners or not experienced users. And they hardly will use the Objects and animation editor with multiple objects. So they simply drag new images to the Slide list and then apply a slide style. In this case our idea could work fine. Also some better ideas come later when something already done.
  9. Thanks, Tom! I'm glad.
  10. Tom, Thanks for testing! We also updated our M1 and Intel Macs to macOS 12 Monterey. Can you try a new build of PTE AV Studio 10.5.5 Beta Build 5 which I compiled on Monterey OS first time: PTE AV Studio: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/PTE-AV-Studio.dmg PTE AV Player: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/PTE-AV-Player.dmg (Run manually the Player first time after installation)
  11. Right now it exports a slide (picture) at the end of a transition - exactly what you see in the Slide list. I guess that some members might expect another result, a possibility to export a slide at any time point including a transition effect.
  12. Tom, I think that this issue is caused by edge antialiasing and float point calculations for position/size between two objects which are placed exactly side by side. Move Mask (Rectangle) object slightly to the left. Now it's -200 , set -200.5 at the 1st keyframe.
  13. Tom, thanks, give me some time to explore this project.
  14. How you think where this command should be placed - in the Publish button menu? Or in the Slide menu, or in the main menu > Publish?
  15. Hi Peter, I never seen such error message. Can you attach a screenshot? And let me know a version of PTE on the old Mac with Windows 7. Probably the project file was damaged or some issue with file rights after copying. We recommend to use Create backup in a ZIP command (from the main menu > File menu) to transfer a project to another computer. P.S. I'll move this topic to the Troubleshooting section.
  16. Quick slide style - two commands, copy and apply. There is a good sense in your thoughts about slide styles. But it's another conception with own strong and weak sides. We cannot change it now for compatibility reasons.
  17. Hi, In future versions (12.0) we plan to add multiple tracks with objects/slides. It means that you can apply styles to slides on one track and keep text comments on another track. It will be more universal and simple solution than adding special exceptions/rules for slide styles.
  18. What other members think about this suggestion?
  19. Thanks, Bruno
  20. Hi Tom, Do you see this issue in a real show? Full screen preview, EXE show, or MP4 video. Send me a simple test project.
  21. Hi, There are two solutions: A. Move all project files into the same folder (no sub-folders). And open this project. B. Or open your project and recover paths to missing files in the Missing Files window. Once you recover first file from a sub-folder, PTE AV Studio automatically finds all other files from the same folder - you'll see green marks in the list of discovered files. Repeat this step for other missing files from other sub-folders and click the OK button. Then save the project. P.S. I'll move your post to the Troubleshooting section as a new topic.
  22. Hi, We implemented a special kind of slide styles - Quick Slide Style in future version 11.0. There are 2 commands in the main window - create and apply a quick slide style. Just in one click with no options. Unlike existing slide styles, when you apply a quick slide style, PTE AV Studio keeps untouched a duration of destination slide, its transition and duration of a transition. Only all objects on a slide will be replaced, keeping original main image. It's possible to apply a quick style to multiple slides. Their order will not be changed. Synchronization of slides will not be touched. I hope that this feature would be useful for AV enthusiasts.
  23. Gary, Usually any video clips. Except of videos created in PTE AV Studio from still images with slow panning/zooming and dissolves.
  24. Hi Jill, Thanks for your commentary and experience! Yes, your task is more complex with different shows and menu and proposed suggestion probably doesn't fit.
  25. Hi, You can try a new Beta of PTE AV Studio 10.5.5: Download: For Windows: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/pteavstudio-setup.exe For Mac: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/PTE-AV-Studio.dmg PTE AV Player for Mac: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/PTE-AV-Player.dmg What's New: Fixed problem import/export of slide styles which contain a comma in a style name. Added compatibility with a notch at the top of the display in the new Macbook Pro 14” and 16” when you play a show at full screen. Or when you work in full screen in PTE AV Studio. P.S. If you purchase a new Macbook Pro 14" or 16" with M1 Pro / Max chip, please try this new version and let us know how it looks with a notch on the screen.
