This problem is fixed in Beta 27.

Hi, We added an experimental improvement in the new v10.5 Beta 27 for Windows and Mac. Earlier files added as main images/videos in the Slide List were marked by a bold font in the File List. Now we additionally set a different file caption color to help you more easily recognize them in the File list. It works in the Dark Mode and in the classical Light Mode. Let me know what you think?

Mark, I can't reproduce this issue on Mac or Windows. Did you try to add the same video in a new test project? In a new project, I add a new video clip as Slide1. Set "Master video track". Then copy and paste this slide as Slide2 (it automatically becomes libnked video). Or I add the same video clip as Slide2 and link it manually with Master video clip. All works fine.

Hi, Our server with the forum, support page and online documention didn't work past 27 hours due to a large fire in OVH's data centre in Strasbourg: https://www.theregister.com/2021/03/10/ovh/ We apologize for this problem! Our main website was not affected, because it's located in another location. Thousands of servers are destroyed complety. I could recover the forum from a backup copy created 5 days ago. There is a chance that our original server was not destroyed, because it was located in SBG1 building (33% servers were destroyed in SBG1, and all servers were destroyed in SBG2 building). But OVH promissed to run SBG1 data centre only next week (with a chance of 33% to find a working server). So we decided to run the forum as soon as possible. I apologize for the lost messages during last several days. We'll reconfigure daily backups.

Laszlo, Can you save a copy of this project and simplify it as possible? Remove slides and audio files while this problem still can be reproduced. Currently PC version of .ptshow file includes video/audio decoders. We plan to move them to an EXE launcher (if necessary).

Hi John, Can you easily reproduce this problem again? If yes, try the following option: in the main menu > Settings > Preferences > System tab. Tick the option "Alternate renderer...". Click the OK button and restart PTE. Does it help to solve that issue?

Dave, Version 10.5 for Windows will replace 10.0.14. We'll keep a link for 10.0.14 just in case on the Old versions page.

New Beta version will keep your existing version 10.0.14 automatically. Just untick the option "Associate with .pte project files" during the installation to keep projects with the old version (when you double click in the Explorer).

Hi Philip, Does this problem occur with a certain large Excel table, or with any table, even very simple? I have old version Excel 2013 on another old PC, and I tried to open a large table with 10 columns and 6500 rows. PTE 10.0.14 was opened in background. I couldn't see any problems with PTE or Excel. Copying of large columns (and all sheet) from/to Clipboard worked fine in Excel. No delays or errors. We need to reproduce this issue to find a solution.

John, Maybe in future. iPad version will require to rework all the user interface for a mobile screen. It's not easy task.

Tell me details about your computer in a personal message - graphics card (date of drivers) and version of Windows. It seems that graphics drivers don't work correctly, I recommend to update graphics drivers. PTE AV Studio cannot initialize DirectX 3D mode. P.S. I've reproduced the problem discovered by Denis in the main menu. Thanks.
