  1. Ron, Thanks for these results! We set a max limit of a bitrate for video encoding without HW acceleration. And it helped. And when Hardware acceleration is ON we can't combine a bitrate limit and encoding with dynamic quality. It's only possible to use Bitrate mode and set strictly desired bitrate. 60000 (KB) for case of your Samsung TV. Just and idea. Can you check another USB flash drive with your Samsung TV? The best variant would be USB 3.0 Flash drive (which has a blue color in connector area. Maybe we have a problem with slow reading?
  2. Ron, Please try a new version: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/pteavstudio-setup.exe Check the About window. It should display: Version: 10.0.6 (64-bit) Build 2 1. Encode 4K video without Hardware acceleration, High quality, 60p. And check on both 4K TVs. 2. Encode 4K video with ticked Hardware acceleration and Medium quality, 60p.
  3. Ron, I'll prepare a new test version of PTE with optimal 4K settings tomorrow. If it possible, please check it tomorrow on both TVs. Please also try 4K 60p video from iPhone 8: https://send.firefox.com/download/9d5b9800e8148706/#ju-xnD2eYYgVX68WFQerLg How it plays on Samsung TV?
  4. Ron, Glad that your like quality of created videos! Can you check the following: Choose "Custom" preset. Cange a mode "Quality" to mode "Bitrate" and type 60000 (it will give 60 Mbit). Encode video with Hardware acceleration and check on your both 4K TVs. Let me know about results.
  5. Hi, Normally this problem should not occur when "Synchronize soundtrack and slides" option is ticked (by default). What happens when you press Space key to pause the show - does the music pauses or continues to play? Can you check Sample Project (see the main menu > Help > Open Sample Project).
  6. Ron, Please send me this project again (missing files). See the personal message.
  7. Peter, I'm glad that the new version works fine. We're still thinking about H.265 (HEVC) support. Current disadvantages of H.265: 1. Encoding takes in 3x time longer than H.264. 2. Old computers and even not so old PCs can't play smoothly H.265. It requires GPU hardware acceleration for video decoding. For example, NVIDIA Geforce 1050 or newer.
  8. Ron, Thanks for the details. I see on 1st screenshot that bitrate was set to high (109 mbit). It explains why your TV didn't want to play it. Probably we need to limit top level of a bitrate to fit for hardware limitations of Ulta HD TVs. But usually bitrate is much lower, I need to understand why the encoder chosen so high bitrate value. It may depends on high dynamic scenes in your projects (especially if it contains video clips). Please send me your project, all files in a ZIP, in a private message. Use WeTransfer.com or send.firefox.com services Can you also check other projects? About 4-10 minutes of duration without video clips.
  9. Ron, Thanks for testing. Please make sure that you installed version 10.0.6 in About window. Check my project and try to encode your 4K video without Hardware acceleration: https://send.firefox.com/download/26fbe6f303554279/#x0Noc-dHOQ1q5JEkVLF95Q I used "HD and 4K video" option, 3840 x 2160, High quality, 60p.
  10. Mark, Thanks for this info. We can't do anything for Crossover emulation. Only in native Mac version we can use fonts correctly.
  11. Hi, We greatly improved video output in a new version 10.0.6 Beta. I ask your help to check if everything works correctly: Download Beta version 10.0.6: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/pteavstudio-setup.exe Improved compatibility of created 4K video with Ultra HD TVs. Improved smoothness of created 1080p video on some old TVs (2011 or earlier). Improved video encoding in Custom preset with “Bitrate” mode. The final bitrate more closely matches the one set by the user. Improved visual quality. Note, that a file size of a created MP4 video without Hardware acceleration option is now larger on 10-15% than in previous versions of PTE 10 using "Quality" mode, but still less than videos created in PTE 9. It means better visual quality in version 10.0.6. You can reduce file size adjusting Quality parameter in Custom preset. If everything is OK, we'll publish a version 10.0.6 officially.
  12. Ron, Try a new version 10.0.6 Beta: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/pteavstudio-setup.exe
  13. Peter, Thanks for the confirmation! Please try a new version 10.0.6 Beta: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/pteavstudio-setup.exe If everything is OK, I'll publish it officially.
  14. Please try 2 test 4K videos on your 4K TV: https://send.firefox.com/download/772a494cfb1bad38/#V1J2WeFMX34E32AvuBYMUw
  15. Hi, Welcome to this forum! I recommend to try a large free library of MP3 music from Google. It's suitable for publications on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/audiolibrary/music?feature=blog&nv=1
  16. Right now I'm checking video encoder parameters to find optimal values for 4K. Please wait a little.
  17. Thanks, Lin! Looks great
  18. Peter, Ron, Thanks for testing! It seems that modern 4K TVs support well HEVC format (H.265) without problems. Probably we'll modify video output in PTE 10 to produce HEVC video in 4K. The only problem - encoding of HEVC video takes much more time than traditional H.264.
  19. Peter, Try this 4K 60p test video on your Sony 4K TV and on PC: https://send.firefox.com/download/3cde50b2fb78c859/#fjV9jnqHrK1djhyS9CZ7mA I encoded it with Hardware acceleration option using my NVIDIA Geforce 1060 in PTE 10. Also if you have iPhone 8 or newer. Try to record 60p 4K video and check on your TV.
  20. Hi Peter, Do I understand rightly, that 30p 4K video plays on your Sony 4K TV? Did you try 4K 60p video created with a mobile option on your TV? Usual 4K videos (not with mobile option) should play fine in VLC and MPC-HC players on Windows 10. Probably you need faster video card to handle 4K videos. I recommend NVIDIA Geforce 1660, 1650, or 1060 for desktop computers. These video cards provide a hardware acceleration for 4K video encoding in PTE 10 and also acceleration for playback (in PTE, in VLC, or MPC-HC players). Another user of PTE AV Studio with a modern NVIDIA graphics reported that he creates 4K 60p videos with hardware acceleration option in PTE 10 and these video files play fine on his two 4K TVs. I'll continue investigation of an issue with 4K videos. Please give me more time to work on this. This task has high priority for me.
  21. Jill, We can rework this behaviour, but in this case PTE will ask you about desired Monitor for a preview (same question when you press Preview button).
  22. Hi Peter, We know about this issue and working on the solution. Try two variants: 1. If you have a new NVIDIA graphics. Tick the option "Hardware acceleration" and encode 4K video. 2. Try to use "Video for mobile devices" option in the Publish menu. Set 3840 x 2160, High quality, 60p. Untick the option "Hardware acceleration". Let me know - what other players you tried for 4K videos?
  23. Jill, Try this version: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/pteavstudio-setup.exe I remember that we changed some code for a multi-monitor configuration. Does it help?
  24. Barry, Thanks for your suggestions! Let me think more.
  25. Tom, Gary, Try a new test version: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/pteavstudio-setup.exe Does it work correctly for this case now?
