  1. Let check the simple thing. Download several any JPEG images from Internet and save into a new folder on your computer (not on a USB drive). Can you see these JPEG images in PicturesToExe? If it works, repeat same for JPEG images from your digital camera copied to your computer.
  2. Hmm, strange. It should work for AVI 1920 x 1080, 30p. I recommend to consider creating of a MP4 video as a final movie for your project. If a project contains many high quality video clips, we recommend to create a MP4 video instead of EXE format. P.S. Future version 10.0 will work faster and better for video clips in EXE shows.
  3. Thanks, Tom, I thought to add add Blu Ray output in future versions. But it seems that this option becoming not so actual? Also I didn't receive any requests from users for Blu-Ray output.
  4. What is the pixel size (width/height) of a created AVI video and FPS?
  5. Try "AVI video" option in the Publish menu of PicturesToExe, and then insert created AVI video into another project,
  6. Hi, Do I understand rightly, that you create a MP4 video in PicturesToExe and then insert it as a video clip into a nother PicturesToExe's project and play it as an EXE file?
  7. Up to 300-500 slides are OK. More than 700 slides may cause noticable delays in work with a project. In theory you can add around 10 000 images. Alternatively you can split your project into several parts.
  8. Hi, Future version 10.0 will support MP4 video with H.265 codec (HEVC) and playback with fast hardware acceleration (on new video cards). For version 9.0 I recommend to use HandBrake - a free open source video converter: https://handbrake.fr/ Personally I also use this great software program. If you plan to create a final EXE show: In HandBrake: in Output Settings > Video tab > Video Codec > change "H.264" option to "MPEG-4". You can keep other options by default. It will create video optimized for PicturesToExe 9.
  9. Lin, Thanks for your review!
  10. Hi, I found PicturesToExe page on Alternativeto.net project: https://alternativeto.net You can add likes, comments and reviews for any products. Also it's possible to suggest some product as an alternative to some another software product.
  11. Interesting effect, Thanks, Dave.
  12. Looks very impressive! Many thanks, Lin!
  13. Jose, I'm very impressed by your work! And a good challenge for PTE to process this large project.
  14. Tom, I use 3 Dell monitors: U2417H, P2317H, and old P2314H. Also I plan to try a NEC monitor.
  15. Jose, Thanks, I need more time to explore the question with High@L4.1 and 60p.
  16. Tom, When you purchase any monitor make sure that it contains a feature "Flicker free". It's important. I hope that open formats AV1 and AVIF will become popular. We plan to support both formats in future.
  17. Jose, I discovered that my old media player (2008 year) connected to a TV can play only H.264 video up to Profile 4.1. So it plays fine 1920 x 1080 30p. 60p video created with a wrong profile 4.1 plays very jerky (not acceptable). And 60p video with a correct profile 4.2 cannot play at all. It seems that old media players and TV are limited by 30p video only, and some TVs plays 60p with a wrong profile 4.1, and new models (2010-2012 or later) play fine 60p 1080 videos. I will explore more this subject.
  18. Jose, I'm not sure that it's a good solution. PTE should create a MP4 video files according H.264 specifications. I checked 60p video (High@L4.2) from PTE 9.0.21 on my FullHD LG TV (5.5 years old) and it plays fine all files. Same for Android TV media player. I will check pmy another old media player today later or tomorrow. To set profile High@4.1: Open the following file in Notepad (you need Administrator's rights): C:\Program Files (x86)\WnSoft PicturesToExe\9.0\Main\encoder-hd.ini For CmdLine parameter add -level 41 : CmdLine=-me_method umh -level 41 -pix_fmt yuv420p Please don't forget that this parameter is not compatible with 4K video output.
  19. It would be difficult to find a monitor with 10 bit HDR. And I think it's useless for now.
  20. Yes, and PTE supports 4K rendering.
  21. Hi Tom, All versions of PTE always use current refresh rate of your monitor. In the preview and in EXE shows. If you have a special monitor with 120 Hz and Windows was configured to use 120 Hz, PTE will render animations at 120 frames per second. Don't forget about a good video card to be able render fast these 120 frames per second.
  22. Jose, According H.264 specifications, MP4 video at 1920 x 1080 50p or 60p should use a profile High@L4.2 And 30p video 1920 x 1080 can use High@L4.0: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.264/MPEG-4_AVC#Levels By a mistake PTE 9 up to version 9.0.16 used firmly High@L4.1 - that is redundantly for 1920 x 1080, 24/25/30p (or lower), and incorrectly low profile for 1920 x 1080 50/60p, 4K video. Since PTE 9.0.17 we fixed this problem, and now H.264 profile is set automatically, optimally for every particular case. You can try old version of PTE 9.0.16 (fixed to High@L4.1): https://files.wnsoft.com/test/picturestoexe-setup-9016.exe Also I can advice you how to edit manually the configuration file in the latest PTE 9, if necessary. However, please note that High@L4.1 is NOT correct for 1920x1080 60p and it can be used as an exception for a particular hardware player.
  23. Thanks
  24. I'm glad that you resolved this problem. It seems that some settings of PTE were damaged or were wrong. Reinstallation of PTE has cured the configuration file.
  25. Thanks for the confirmation!
