Hi, Today we installed the first Beta version of the new macOS 15 Sequoia, which Apple announced yesterday, on our Mac with Apple Silicon. At first glance, PTE AV Studio 11 works correctly.

Hi, Try the new version 11.0.13 Build 3: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/pteavstudio-setup.exe We fixed this problem.
-
Hi, Thanks for your message. I see the problem. It's somehow related with certain parametes. I couldn't reproduce it my new slide style, but this issue can re reproduced with your style. Give us some time to learn the code.
-
We have a good progress with version 12.0.
-
I agree. Should we add this change to PTE 12? There is some issue with existing projects. If somebody mistakenly enabled a Blur for a child object and its parent object separately, then the Blur appear for the child object, too.
-
Hi, Yes, it has worked like this since version 8.0. Blurring is not inherited for child objects. Do you think it's inconsistent and should be reworked?

Hi Gary, All smartphones and cameras use hardware video encoders which should work in real time, and this applies certain limitations. To reach the best visual quality (less artefacts) these encoders set the highest bitrate (about 100 MBit for 4K videos). And this high bitrate is used for any kind of scenes - with many fine details (trees), or for scenes with less details (sky, snow, walls, etc). Software video encoders have more time for more effective use of bitrate. PTE AV Studio uses the newest smart mode of a video encoder which dynamically changes a bitrate according details in a video scene for each frame. It works like a JPEG compression in Photoshop where you set say "10" of compression quality and resulting JPEG file has different file size according pixel size and fine details in a picture. In other words, "High quality" preset (100%) in PTE gives a similar result as using "10" in Photoshop for saving JPEG. Try to create a new simple project with blank images and one text caption on each picture. No transitions (quality transition) for each slide. Encode a MP4 video in PTE with 1920 x 1080, High quality, 60p. I guess that you'll get a MP4 video file about 300-500 KB (less than 1 MB). Then replace blank images with JPEG pictures of landscapes/flows/trees and the resulting MP4 video will be about 10-20 MB. Add Dissolve transitions or any Pan/Zoom animations and MP4 file will be 30-50 MB. Then add videos, and file size will be 50-150 MB.

Thanks for this demonstation. Glad that V11 was useful for this task.

Hi, I agree that a possibility to rename a project template in PTE AV Studio would be a good function for the next version.

Dave, Jill, Let me check on Monday again and answer a little later.

OK, Dave UPD. In existing versions you can undo this change (deleting) by clicking the Cancel button in the Preferences.

PTE AV Studio 11.0.13 is available for PC and Mac Download: https://www.wnsoft.com/pte-av-studio/download/ Or use Auto Update feature: Main menu > Help > Check for Free Updates Fixed an issue with memory leaks on laptops with Intel Iris Xe graphics during video clip playback. This problem exists in the latest Intel graphics drivers on 12-gen and 13-gen Intel Core CPU. We’ve found an alternative solution and informed Intel engineers about this issue (PC only). Mac version includes an updated EXE player for a PC. The installation files are the same as recent public Beta version. Mac users can skip this update.

We reproduced this problem on our computer with integrated Intel graphics 12-gen CPU and new Intel graphics drivers. We'll try to fix it quickly. -
Hi, I found an interesting online service - Suno Ai generates music (with or without lyrics) based on your text prompt: https://app.suno.ai/ They introduced improved V3 a week ago. Free version is allowed for non-commercial use. And the paid version generates music that belongs to you.

You can create 2 versions of your shows - 30p for compatibility with some old TVs and 60p for all TVs. Many TVs automatically convert/improve 30p video to 60p or 120p when you watch a video. Read about Motion Interpolation in Wikipedia.
-
Hi, Let me know version of PTE AV Studio which you used to create 60p videos. And exact model name of your TV.

Problem with Windows Intel Core i9 laptop [SOLVED]
Igor replied to lauwejo's topic in Troubleshooting
Hi, We apologize for this problem! Let me know exact model name of your new laptop. 1. Try to update graphics drivers (NVIDIA) on the new laptop. If it didn't help: 2. If you have access to the old laptop. Please open the same project (with 7 HD video clips) on both laptops (new and old ones). Click the play button to watch a preview in the panel of the main window. Open the Task Manager and check memory usage for "PTE AV Studio" app on both laptops while you watching the preview. When you notice any freezing or defects on a picture, let me know memory usage at this moment. 3. Create a simple test project, which contains only 3 video clips (about 3 minutes of total duration). Click the play to watch a preview. Do you observe any problem on the new laptop? -
Hi Denis, Nice transitions with the Displacement map effect! Thanks for sharing.

Hi Mark, Thanks for these details. I really apologize for that unpleasant issue with PTE AV Player on your Mac! Earlier I asked you: 3. Do you see the error, if you open manually PTE AV Player from Applications for the first time (it was not launched in the Dock). Then open .pteav or .exe show in the Open file window? and you replied me: I re-read your answer. If PTE AV Player runs correctly you open it manually from Applications and then choose .pteav show file from the Open file window, it means that the most likely file association (the Player and .pteav files) is broken. But it's really unusual problem. 1. Try to put .pteav shows into another folder on your Mac, outside system folders Documents or Desktop. A new folder in your Mac's home folder. 2. Check the Trash Bin to and remove any old "PTE AV Players" if you find them there. It's important. Probably file assocition works for the old deleted copy of the Player? I've seen this situation once on my Mac. Then run manually the Player in Applications and after this, try again double click on a show file in the Finder.
