If it's not possible, please send us a request through this page: https://www.wnsoft.com/en/support/ We ask you specify your email address which you could use to purchase PTE to help us find your license key. The Home --Slideshow with free Style samples
Igor replied to Alex55's topic in Slideshows & AV Shows
Hi Alex, Very impressive template and complex animations. Thanks! -
Usually we add to a project photos shot in 3:2 or 4:3 aspect ratio. By default, the project in PTE AV Studio has a slide aspect ratio of 16:9, and we see black bars around the images on a 16:9 monitor. There are 4 options to make the images fill the entire slide (screen): A. Click the Project Options button > Defaults tab. Tick the "Cover" option. Click the OK button. Now all new images added to the Slide List or Timeline will occupy the entire slide (screen) without additional black bars. This method requires the Pro version of PTE AV Studio. B. Select one or more slides and click the Styles & Themes button. Browse Image Category > Image - Cover Style. Click the "Apply" button. Please note that this style will remove all additional objects (text captions) from the affected slides. C. Select one slide. Click the Objects and Animation button. Click your main image (usually the one selected by default) and press Alt+S (Option+S on Mac). You can quickly switches between slides staying in the Objects and animation editor. Press F11/F12 or arrows buttons at the top-right corner of this window. D. Select one slide. Click the Objects and Animation button. Click your main image. On the Properties tab, tick the Aspect Crop checkbox. And select "16:9" from the drop-down menu. Or choose any other aspect ratio you want.

Hi Tom, As far as I know, video file playback is optimized from start to finish. Preview and EXE will not work well for a real-time reverse playback. I think it can be implemented in a video converter.

Future version 12.0 will offer a new Sound object for a slide.

Hi Philippe, glad that you liked this template/transition!

Hi Laszlo, Thank you for your kind words about PTE AV Studio! Usually all computer monitors work at frequency 60 Hz, when you watch a fullscreen preview in PTE or play EXE show, you see 60 frames per second for animations in your show. MP4 video created with 60p option produces the same visual result (60 frames per second). You can see a difference between 30p and 60p videos in scenes with fast animations of objects (images or text) or transitions when you watch a MP4 video on a computer monitor. Note, that if you watch a MP4 video on a TV, you may get a different result. Almost all modern flat TVs have special Frame interpolation function, it means that they automatically convert 30p video to 120p, and 60p to 120p. In this case, 30p and 60p videos look equally smooth on a modern TV. So we just recommend to create MP4 video with 60p option. One more thing. In MP4 video output, PTE AV Studio offers a special option - Motion Blur. I recommend to watch excellent video lesson from Barry Beckham to understand what result you may get with this option: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jv-jRCLhc-Y

Hi Allen, I've sent you a personal message with your V7 license key and download link.

OK, I'll wait. Good luck!

Hi Dave, Thanks for sending the ZIP with the project. I opened it on my Mac and created an EXE for Windows. When I launched a fullscreen preview on Mac and the EXE on Windows 10. I compared all the maps and they looks identical - no visual defects or offsets. All text captions on the maps are correctly placed. If you can reproduce the problem, please send me 2 screenshots - from Windows (with the problem) and from Mac, at the same time point. P.S. I modified your project to allow keyboard control (pause command) and Navigation bar for testing.
-
Dave, Please save a copy of your project on Mac, keep only one slide with a text caption where you observe the problem. Remove all music. Create an EXE file. And save a backup of the project in a ZIP (see a command in the FIle menu). Send me both files (EXE and ZIP). Also attach a screenshot - what you see on your Mac. We'll check for this problem.
-
Hi Dave, Usually EXE shows (created on a PC or Mac) should display exactly the same fonts (size and proportions) on any PC where you run the EXE. Because PTE AV Studio (many years) automatically converts text captions to an array of curves for an EXE show. If you observe a difference for EXE, please send us a test project. You can copy one slide with a text from your original project and save it as a new test project. Create a backup in a ZIP (main menu > File menu) and share the ZIP file with us through WeTransfer.com or Google Drive. We'll check it. Another case. It's possible when the same project (.pte file) opened on PC and Mac gives slightly different visual results for font rendering (I mean a project, not EXE show). Because it depends on how Windows and Mac renders fonts. A difference in size of text letters may vary on 3-10 screen pixels, according screen resolution and visual size of a text. So if you work with a project on a Mac, then copy the project in a ZIP to a PC, open the project on a PC and create an EXE show, you may get slightly different visual result between PC and Mac. Also don't forget about necessarity to have the same fonts installed on both computers.

Hi, Thanks for your patience. We've fixed freezing issue on Macs with Apple M1/M2 chips running macOS 14 Sonoma. Please try a new version 11.0.10 Beta: PTE AV Studio: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/PTE-AV-Studio.dmg Player for Mac shows: https://files.wnsoft.com/test/PTE-AV-Player.dmg Don't forget to untick an option "Open using Rosetta", if you used our temporary solution earlier. Let me know about a result. -
Hi, Sorry for our late response. Version 11.0 (a trial version or purchased version) should open correctly all projects saved in previous versions, including V9. Tell me in more details: 1. Do you observe this problem with a certain V9 project, or with all other projects? 2. When you try such project, do you see a Missing Files window which suggest you help to find and recover missing files? 3. If you try to open the same project in V9, will it be opened correctly? On your screenshot above, 1st slide is selected and I see a full path to missing files in the status bar (bottom of the main window). Check this path if it contain a required file.
