Hi, Lin, thanks for your suggestion. Let me think about it.

Do you have other MP3 files which give same problem for a created video file? I found a reason of this problem, it requires to replace a MP3 decoder. But I'm afraid to replace it without long Beta testing, because it may cause new problems. I already replaced MP3 decoder in future version of PicturesToExe. And this problem should not occur.

Fixed in PTE 9.0.22 Beta (only this change) : https://files.wnsoft.com/test/picturestoexe-setup.exe

Thanks, I confirm it. We'll fix it in the nearest update.
-
Gary, I remember.

Yes, we'll do it.

Hello, I apologize for my late reply! Thanks for the links to the new French resources about PicturesToExe! I'm very grateful to people who created this website and tutorials. I added a new post here: https://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/forum/66-français/ And I added 2 links on WnSoft website: https://www.wnsoft.com/fr/picturestoexe/help/ If it's necessary to correct the captions, please let me know.

Useful tip for the Objects and animation editor: "Undo All Changes" / "Redo All Changed" commands in the popup menu of Tools button. "Undo All Changes" reverts all changes which you did in current session of the Objects and animation editor.

Thanks, Dave! Nice work.

Yes, technically it's possible to adjust. Browse the folder: C:\Users\YourProfileName\AppData\Local\PicturesToExe\Versions\9.0\ YourProfileName is a name of your profile in Windows. in this folder open apr.ini file in Notepad app, find RecentLst_Limit and set a new value. For example, 16. By default it's set to 10: RecentLst_Limit=10

Done. Use your new user name to login on the forum: Tomcatred55

Gary, Do you see embedded YouTube video clips on that page? I don't see them on your screenshots. It seems that your browser has stopped to show embedded videos.
-
Gary, Send me a sample link to a thread. Also what is your scale in the browser and in Windows?
-
Gary, we didn’t update forum software about a month. Try to press Ctrl + F5 to update the page, or clear browser cache.

Does this problem occur with a certain project, or with other projects too?
-
Hi, Please check that you use the latest official version of PicturesToExe.
-
Hi, Thanks, I confirm the problem with this MP3 file in video output. We'll try to fix it after holidays. As a temporary solution convert this MP3 file to WAV file before add to PicturesToExe. Or just re-convert to MP3, it should help.

Slideshowclub allows to embedd YouTube or Vimeo video clips. It would be great if all contributors could add a video in addition to EXE files.

Custom transition changes when sharpening used
Igor replied to Cedric Dawnhawk's topic in Troubleshooting
Andrew, It appears to be a complex problem and fix may take long time. Sorry. -
Andrew, Yes, Windows XP uses old screen mode. PicturesToExe works much better with Windows Vista/7/8/10. Did you try "Run Application and Exit" command? It should help, because only one EXE show will work at any moment of time. Windows XP is not supported officially by PTE 9. It still works, but we cannot guarantee that everything is tested well. PTE 10 will NOT work and run on Windows XP at all.

Andrew, I see this problem, thanks. We'll check the code of PTE. -
I'm glad! Honestly, only the diagnostic information helped found a reason of that problem. I couldn't imagine that Windows 7 still allows set 16 bit limited colors.
-
Thanks, Probably I found a reason of this problem. Check your Display settings in Windows 7. Currently it's set to 16 bit color mode. It should be switched to 32 bit color. More details how to do it: http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/faq/id-1865158/change-color-bits-windows.html I think that 16 bit color mode was set by a mistake, because 32-bit color mode is required by all modern apps to correctly show true colors (many years). P.S. If a computer works well for its tasks, it's no matter how old it is.
