Barry, Does this problem occur with all projects (EXE files) which you create in PicturesToExe 9.0.16? Try to create a new simple slideshow: 3-5 images (1920 x 1080) and one MP3 audio. Will it work? The problem which you described can be caused by several reasons: 1. Incorrect work of drivers of a video card. Solution: update manually drivers of a video card. 2. Incorrect work of antivirus software (false positive). Solution: try to disable antivirus to check if it helps. 3. Use of several "heavy" images on one slide with ultra high resolution. Try to reduce pixel size of images.

Mark, It seems that Crossover still doesn't provide 100% emulation of Windows functions. I already reworked this code for future PTE 10 and output for Mac will work in Crossover.

We recommend export to MP4 video if your project contains videos. Future PicturesToExe 10 will solve all issues with playback of videos in EXE files and preview.

Mark, Thanks. I just tried Crossover on my iMac 21.5". It really works better than old versions and I didn't notice any graphical defects. There are two problems: no support of Retina resolution and difficulties with access to files on Mac. However it can be good temporary solution, while we're working on Mac version.

Hi Denis, Do you mean missing beginning - high peak in waveform? Send me please your MP4 video file + .pte project file. I couldn't reproduce this problem with several my MP3 files. Audacity shows same waveform for extracted WAV file.

Hi, Please send me this AVI file. I will check it. Do you hear this problem (between channels) when you add this AVI file as a video in PicturesToExe and play preview? I tried to repeat this situation: 1. I have original MP3 file (256 kbit). 2. Create MP4 video with a blank slide with this MP3 as a background music. 3. Convert MP4 to AVI using VideoConverter in PicturesToExe. 4. Add converted AVI file to PicturesToExe as an audio file (in Project options). Sound in both channels is equal as in original MP3 file.

Hi, We're testing new video decoders for future PicturesToExe. Please send me couple of your sample video files (up to 1-3 minutes) which you use with PicturesToExe 9, and especially those files which didn't work correctly with PicturesToExe 9. Add a note a source about a video (camera model).

Hi, Sorry, it's not possible to add a sound file to a custom transition. We plan to add this option in future version(s). I agree that it may be useful. We'll check why video plays without sound in a custom transition. I will reply later.

I understand your logic. I'm considering adding a window with some output settings for EXE file. Probably color management could be added there.
