Barry, I completely agree and I hope you will have more success than I did with this suggestion. I posted the idea several times in this section but Igor never answered. As Lin said, I suspect there is a good reason to not change this default... very unfortunately. Lin, that's absolutely superb ! It's very relaxing, everybody should watch it. It really deserves the download. I will keep it close and play it when I feel stressed. And in a PTE point of view, a lot of work and ideas in those shows. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Lin, I think Gary speaks only about double click on .pte files, not about opening a .pte file within PTE

IIf I remember correctly, this is always what thappened with previous versions of PTE. .pte files are always automatically opened with last version of PTE installed. It's not because of Windows 8 or because of a bad manipulation. I think Igor posted a topic about this subject a few years ago...

Here is my first Slide Style. (link to my website) It uses new features of V8 : - blur - color correction It's just a technical style to demonstrate the potential of styles feature and how easy it is to use them and to apply an animation to several pictures in seconds. Please select at least 2 pictures to apply this slide... with no limit to the number of pictures ! This style is compatible with 3:2 and 4:3 pictures. You can use it in 16:9 and 4:3 screen ratio PTE projects. There is no sound in the demo. You can expect more "serious" animations soon... Thanks Adda. With time and patience, you could do anything you want. Honestly, a couple years ago, I would never have guessed I would be able to do such things, thanks to PTE and its last features.

Thanks to all ! Tom, the camera gonna go inside the cube to show the 6 inner sides.... and I might add other "magical" tricks to show more side (that's the advantage of virtuality )

Thank you very much for your reply and letting me know what you think. I understand completely that you're very busy with V8 right now. If I could choose, I would prefer keypoints for shadows first, then uniform shadow which is certainly more specific ;-)

Hi, V6 is available for a long time but I still don't understand the use of this option. Does anyone know what is the purpose of this option 3D mode (or already used it ?), compared to the "standard" shadow option ? Thank you for your help.

I guess the Wnsoft team is very busy with V8 right now but I think this feature would be very useful. So may be in next version ? Also I would like to add an other suggestions to the "shadow" subject. It would be very convenient to have the ability to apply a shadow to a group of son objects by just clicking the option to the father object. And it would give the possibility to apply the shadow in a uniform way. Because right now, if you apply shadow to several objects that overlap, it can be a problem because the different shadows will "add" : the result will be a totally black shadow on the overlapping zones and it's often not what you want.

Could you add black long rectangles, like a CinémaScope style ? Or you could add your own text/logo on a color rectangle ? Just suggestions...
