Really wonderful pictures !! For some pictures of sky, I really had the feeling the clouds were moving. I think 3 or 4 picture could be removed from the show because a little bit too similar. About the man who jump from the tower (3 pictures), I think something quicker would be more appropriate than a long sequence of about 5 seconds by picture. I can easily imagine those pictures in portrait format to appear from left to right, the previous one disappearing when the next one appears. Anyway, I really enjoyed your show, congratulations.

Hi Lin, Your demo runs absolutely smooth on my PC but it's less than one year. I don't know how much time you spend on this template but I guess it kept you busy ! Your topic made me want to try to simulate Earth 360° rotating but without frame by frame animation. I used masks to give the feeling that the Earth (and moon) rotate. Does anybody know if PTE will be the first slideshow software to have this feature ? I think so but I'm not sure... Anyway, champagne when it's available !

I really recommend to watch those Youtube slideshows in "HD" : http://www.youtube.com/user/end3vil When I see what this guy (end3vil) made with PTE, I realize that I still have a huge gap of progression. I guess everybody will not like his creations but his talent is undeniable. Personnaly I am completely dazzled !! His animations are so complex and rich that even after watching them already 3 times each I still discover something new.

It looks great, your demo of the new features is really exciting. I love the border and canvas size for images. The custom windows are really interseting for interactive presentations. The ability to edit masks directly in PTE will be very useful. Don't know if it's only me but when I click on "Run" in the startup menu, the application minimizes in the windows bar at the bottom.

Hi Yachtsman1, Thank you for your comment. I used the same images in B&W and include it in the archive with the color version (actually 50% desaturated).

If 1and1 unlocks my account and didn't erase everything, it will be back as soon as they unlock it. I guess they have to be sure they can make the payment. I guess 1 or 2 days maximum. If I have to reinstall my website, it will take longer. And actually, I have three websites. I have a backup of all my files (last wenesday) but the backup of my database is older (4 weeks old). Anyway, I am virtually the only one to post news. It means it will only miss the last announcements I made if I have to resinstall everything.

The 3D effect is incredible and perfectly under control ! Thank you very much for sharing and sincere congratulations for the technique. Just curious, I wonder how it would work if you would add PZR. Would it ruin the 3D effect ?

Igor, I noticed more and more people can't find their answers in the forum, even when the subject has already been discussed. The search function is very restrictive. Here is the list of limitations I noticed : - You can not specify if you want to make a search with all terms. The engine uses any of them. - You can not include in the list of your keywords a term less than four characters. - You can not specify the name of the author. - You can not specify if you want to make a search on post subjects only, or message text only, or both. - You can not display the result as you want : Posts or Topics. If I remember correctly, all those options were available before. Anyway, it's almost impossible now to find what you're looking for. If the upcoming version 5.7 does not take all your time, could you contact Invision ?

Hello all, This is the correct url but my site is down for two days. Actually, I changed my bank account about 3 months ago and I forgot to inform my provider. And of course they couldn't be paid... I guess they tried to contact me by mail but as I changed my email address two month ago too... They are closed for the week-end. I will call them tomorrow. I hope they didn't erase all my files and databases because my last backup is pretty old. I will let you know as soon as everything is back to normal.

Hello Peter, Unfortunately you can not include animated gif in PTE. But please, post your gif and I will try to suggest or if you wish make myself an animation with it during the week-end.

That's why Ron kindly offered to write a tutorial when I released them. No problem Ron, thanks to YOU for spending time on it. But I don't understand why you mentionned Photoshop CS3/4. Those shadow templates are for PTE, you do NOT need a photo editor. What do you mean ?

You can hurry up to release this new version ! Seriously, you prove once again that you are really listening to your users requests. I just have to buy a second display.

It's photos of Libya, mainly Gadhames and Leptis Magna. Ghadames is one of Libya's highligts. As a matter of fact, it is a highlight of the whole of Sahara, often called "the jewel of Sahara", and was in 1999 added to the UNESCO World Heritage List, as one of 5 places in Libya. Ghadames is a tranquil old city, with covered streets that are both dark and quite cool even during summer. Leptis Magna is the most complete and impressive Roman ruins in the entire North Africa. It's added to the UNESCO World Heritage List too.

Dudley, You get this message when you add a sound to a slide (Customize Slide | Music tab) and tick the option "Synchronise music & slides" (Project options | Main tab). You will have this message even if you removed all sound to slides but left the option "Play new background music file(s)" ticked for one or several slides. I guess you added music in project options too and associated at least a slide to a sound. Untick the option "Synchronise music & slides" and I think you should be able to hear the music in "Preview" mode. The problem is you might loose synchronisation of music and slides if you watch your show on a pc that is more or less powerfull than yours. I really recommend you to mix all your music and sounds in a sound editor (like Audacity), remove your sounds added to slides and only use the project options to add music (Project Options | Music tab).
