In the timeline window, to help the user to mix his soundtrack, it would be very useful to have the ability to display time delay between two points. Left click on the timeline to choose the beginning and right click to choose the end of slide with "display time" in the popup menu.

You can associate a sound to a slide. It is very useful to include sound sfx. It would be nice if you could specify a delay for this file sound to be played (by example, sound starts 1,3 seconds after beginning of slide, 0,7 seconds before beginning of slide).

If I remember correctly, Igor plan to make improvements on the "timeline" window. Will all objects (with animation) be displayed in the "timeline" window like they are in the "Objects and Animation" window (instead of main image) ? And it would be nice if the timeline window could be in fullscreen with a bigger vizualisation window, resizable by the user like in the "main" window.

Once the template is released, this one will be really easy : on first slide, for all those objects (Country, Date and Post Mark), for the first keypoint, change the opacity : 0 => 100% I'm still thinking about what I will make. Will try a simple fade and see how it looks... Thanks, I will leave it as it is. Do you think I should simulate a tickness for the envelope ? (I did it for the photo album template). Nice, I like the idea! I will try to make it (with envelope fades in the background) probably this week-end or at the beginning of next week. Thanks again for those ideas.

As requested by most of you, I will remove the zoom out followed by fade. I will leave it as it is because it's really easy to modify in 1 click. Rotation = 0. I totally agree with you. Actually, most of my templates are at the beginning effects on 2/3 slides that I make for my own slideshows to add impact. And if I think it might interest, I make a template and give the ability to use it for 10, 20 or 30 slides without doing anything. Those templates are only a start and can be modified for your own need. I can't imagine what you mean. Could you please give more details, or even better an image to illustrate. Thanks. I don't remember what it is, I will check tonight. What I know it's that it is a default font for Windows XP. I will include it in the template in case you don't have it. Yes, of course, everything can be changed on the stamp : amount, currency, country, date. This are only "PTE text" objects which can be modified within seconds. And the same for the lines of text on the envelope.

Fantastic ! I ask for a new feature and it's already done. Is it a new option in beta 15 ? By the way, HideTaskBar by Marcovello is not compatible any more in PTE v5 (see screenshot). The same for HideShowTB by Granot. Any idea how I can hide the task bar while playing a video with granot's utility without having to install a software ?

Yes, it works perfectly but not the same way as it does in v4.48. In v5.00, when you run an other application, the slideshow is in "pause" mode. In v4.48, the slideshow continues to play. I use this option to launch videos (using granot's utility) but I would like the slideshow to continue. This way, in v5, I could add PTE animations in the background of the video (text, photos). The slideshow and the video would play in the same time. Igor, is it possible too keep this option the way it runs in v4.48, or even better to have the choice to pause the show or to continue it ?

I don't know if it was already effective in a previous beta but I noticed that .pte files are associated to PTE. No need to run PTE first and open .pte files. You can now double-click on .pte files to automatically launch PTE v5.00. Nice!

Hi hotshot, Go in Project Options | Advanced Tab | Customize Navigation Bar Here you can set a lot of parameters, including size. If you need your logo to be very small, you can manually enter a number because there is a limitation to 5 with the slider. Hope it helps.

Ron, If you want to make simple modifications, you can do it in the VideoBuilder Menu screen : you can change the background and Pan/zoom each object. If you want to go a little deeper, in this menu, click on the "Templates" button and choose "Add template...". It will create a duplicate folder of the template you choosed. Browse to where you created this template and modify the graphic elements in your graphic editor. And only for specialists, they can study and mofify the Options_4_3.ini / OPtions16_9.ini files. I think you can already do a lot of things with the first two options. Hope it helps.
