Congratulations, it's a great animation! I totally agree with Aleina, that's really good ideas. To improve your animation, you have to take care of the light and try to reproduce it on the flowers in PTE. An other suggestion is with the leaves. They are exactly the same color and orientation (only with different rotation). I suggest to use different color correction + Zoom and Z axis different from on to the other for more diversity. And I think it's possible to simulate a light shadow of the flowers growing on the leaves.

I finally finish the book opening! Please watch it in full screen. It was much difficult than I expected and I had to start from over several times. I posted a previous version yesterday evening on my YouTube channel but was not pleased with the result this morning. For those of you who subscribed to my YT channel and already watched it, this one is brand new and I think much better. There are still little things I want to add to improve the sequence, to make it smoother and more realistic but it's only details now, main work is finished. This video is just the same sequence played several times but with different pictures (ground, cover, pictures and pages) and with different "camera" angles. The result is quite different from one to the other.

Thank you very much Igor for taking time to study my question. The impossibility is what I sensed. I agree, that’s not a bug, you made a great choice when you implemented this behavior. What I would like is to keep it this way (main use) and to add a new option for main images in style if user want it to behave differently. I hope you can change it. Thank you again !

I don't understand what you mean DG. This style only needs 2 slides : one for the opening sequence of pic #1 (="slide for beginning) and a recurrent one for the display of each following pic with pic #1. Does it make sense ? Why 20 ?

Hi Bill, thank you for using my style. As wideangle said, you have to select two pictures in the slide list before applying the style. You can find the instructions on the download page too : "number of images : 2 pictures, the first one is used for the record , the 2nd one is used for the cover"

Thank you for your reply DG. Yes, you're right, that's what I tried to explain in my initial message. To be more explicit, I want to use this option for my photoalbum style. Pic#1 (main image #1) will be the image choosed by end user to customize his photoalbum cover. And next images (main image starting from #2 to infinite) will be the pcitures of his photo album. But I am afraid that's this 'slide for beginning" that is the issue (bug ?)

Thanks Igor, but I am afraid there is a misunderstanding. I tried your style on 6 images. Works ok till slide #4. On slide #4, only pic#4 is displayed. Then slide #5 & #6 are displayed with pic#4 What I want is : - slide #1 : only pic#1 displayed - slide #2 : pic#2 with pic#1 - slide #3 : pic#3 with pic#1 - slide #4 : pic#4 with pic#1 - slide #5 : pic#5 with pic#1 - slide #6 : pic#6 with pic#1 If I would choose 8 pics (instead of 6), I would have same sequence with those slides added : - slide #7 : pic#7 with pic#1 - slide #8 : pic#8 with pic#1 I can't find a way to make this. Please try to make it work with my project I have posted (in zip file).

Hi, I have an issue with main images and styles. I uploaded this simple project and the style made of it in order to explain more easily. I want the first image (main picture #1) to appear as an introduction ("slide for beginning") and to be ALWAYS used as a frame for ALL next pictures (main image #2). This way, each time I use the style, I can choose what picture I want to be used as the frame for my pictures. No problem with slide #1. Frame used for image #2 is ok too, it's picture #1 But for all next pictures, instead of pic#1 used as frame, it's the previous picture that is used : pic#2 used as a frame for pic#3, pic#3 used as a frame for pic#4, etc... Alice, Phil, Aleina, thank you very much ! Alice, I will certainly release a new video in a couple of days of the photo album opening. It's much more complex than I thought with the bending pages... Igor, here is the capture of parameters used for video file. I created a video 1080p high quality 60p. It looks fantastic on my computer. Thank you for your comment Nelson. I will try to offer as much flexibility as possible. I still have to think about it but I am considering to propose a pack of styles : A - 2 or 3 styles with fixed point of view (above, on the side...) and unlimited number of pages turning (single sequence in a linear and fluid way without any transition) B - a dozen of different styles to build your own photo album sequence with short sequences like in the video. You will have the ability to mix A and B styles. By example, 12 pages turning with style A1. Then 20 pics with different points of view with B type styles. And 10 pages turning with style A2. Book opening and book closing will be included in A type styles. What do you think ?

Thanks ! I think I should be able to post a sneek peek of the animation of the turning pages tonight (without the book opening that I didn't start but I guess it will be easier than the turning pages).

EDIT #4 : final demo of the styles package including 24 different animations. It's a non linear presentation with same 8 images in loop. A linear photo album with opening and closing sequence of the album and no limited number of photographs / pages turning is also possible with my styles package , like in this demo. That’s excellent Aleina ! I love the ending animation of the unfold, the kind of bounce, really nice addition. Adding context and realism to an animation and trying to make it look “real” is what really makes the difference. Well done. I put my own animation on hold to work on “my dream” slideshow. I will certainly continue to work on it in a few days/weeks too.
