  1. Thank you ccmanz for the tip on Batch Processing. I was planning on doing the action one by one, and never thought to do the Batch. THANK YOU!! Techman, How do you create the Main Menu with the Submenu's? I have been studying the program and can't seem to find those options. It sounds like a great idea
  2. Techman What do you mean by creating a Main Menu? So you don't just have one slideshow with many different songs? Thanks again everyone. I really think when I resize the images it will work just fine because it was working until I started adding 50+ images at 8x10 300ppi
  3. Thank you so much for your reply! I think those are the answers I was looking for. All of my images are indeed 8x10, 300ppi and I was trying to get the images to sync with the music. Thank you and now I must get to work on resizing the images for the show!
  4. Hi there. I am now trying to create a slideshow from a wedding I just photographed. I have about 300 images. Is there a limit to how many photographs you can add to the slideshow? I was trying to watch a preview of the show and it is getting locked up, showing the same image over and over again. Is it because I have too many images? Also I know that my CD only holds 700 MB- so I need to probably make the images smaller than 8x10, 300ppi. Does anyone have any recommendations on file size? I don't have a DVD burner, so my options are few. Thanks
  5. Well I have great news! I mailed an .exe slideshow on a CD to a customer. I went ahead and put music with the show- even though I was unsure if it was going to work. She said that the slideshow had music. So obviously there is something wrong with my second computer which isn't allowing the .mp3 to play. It's really a bizarre thing because slideshows created in Roxio work on that computer. Oh well. I am just happy as long as it works on my main computer and the customers'. Thank you all for your advice and I am sorry there wasn't a quick fix answer.
  6. Ok, I'm beginning to feel slightly dumb. It really shouldn't be that difficult, if everyone else has had success with this. Am I supposed to create an avi to create a slideshow? And after I burn the CD, should I click on the finish button? I didn't think that was necessary for a slideshow to be played on the computer. The slideshow works great, it just flows from picture to picture- but the music (.mp3) that I create with the show doesn't play when I use it on other computers. Everyone, thanks for all of your suggestions.. I have tried them all. Except all of my music files are in the form of mp3- and I haven't tried to switch them to .wav yet. But when I bought this program, I was under the impression that I didn't have too. So thanks for all the suggestions, I will keep trying!
  7. Hi, thanks for your opinion as well. I tried your suggestion, and replaced the song with an mp3 file I knew would work- one that I've used with Roxio in the past. It didn't work. Any other suggestions? Here is my step by step: Create Slideshow As- Save the .exe file Open Roxio 5 and burn the CD using the Data Burn option.
  8. Hi I have followed those steps before and the slideshow is recorded and I am able to see the slideshow with music on my compter (which has Windows XP) when I doubleclick the .exe file on the CD. However, when I try to play the CD on my other computer- which has Win98, there is no music with the slideshow. And yes, I have double checked the speakers and everything is fine. So I don't know why it won't work on other computers. I am using Version 4.20 od pic2exe. Thanks for any more help you can offer. Patrice
  9. Please help. I recently bought pic2exe, and have created my slideshow. I only wish to create a slideshow for the computer, with music. I have Roxio CD Creator 5. I tried to use the Data DVD project, but was informed taht there is no supported DVD-recorder detected on the system. I've been reading the posts already listed and saw that I had to use a DVD recording system in order to have music in the slideshow. I am confused. I was able to record slideshows with music with Roxio, but bought pic2exe so that my clients will have a harder time copying the images. All I want is a simple slideshow with music. Can you please help?
