Hi Paul Please look at this topic in my lesson. From the 3-rd minute. How to make an inverted mask. If you want to make a black and white mask from a color image, first apply the Toning> Black and White filter. And then add the filter "Levels", there you can adjust the black, white and medium tones. To adjust the smooth or sharp transition of the mask from the gradient, use filter "Levels". Similar settings were discussed at the end of my video. Lesson #4 Masks Best regards Aleina

Little Christmas, New Year Greeting Sample
Aleina Show replied to Lin Evans's topic in Slideshows & AV Shows
Hi Lin, thank you very much for your congratulations and for the amazing demonstration of the possibilities of the PTE AV Studio program! When I look at this icosahedron, I am always amazed at what capabilities a program must have in order to reproduce it! I wish you happiness and good luck in the new year! Best regards, Aleina -
Just a Little PTE Intro Fun Project
Aleina Show replied to Lin Evans's topic in Slideshows & AV Shows
Hi Lin! Thanks so much for the clarification! Honestly, I did not imagine that the program could use video with an alpha channel without a mask. It was a very pleasant surprise for me! I started experimenting and the alpha channel in the MOV file works fine for me. Program Version 10.0.3. But due to the large size of the video with the alpha channel, I convert them all to mp4 and use it with a mask just as with Proshow Producer. Best regards, Aleina. -
Just a Little PTE Intro Fun Project
Aleina Show replied to Lin Evans's topic in Slideshows & AV Shows
Lin, thank you for introducing us to a wide variety of effects that can be implemented in the program! Support for the alpha channel in the footage is the strong point of PTE Av Studio 10! Thanks, Aleina -
Hi Tom! Thank you very much for your Christmas mood! I even imagined how cozy you would meet Christmas with desserts and 3 cats! I live in the south of Russia, and we often have warm winters. Almost no snow. Thanks for your feedback on my video. I just recently started to learn PTE, but the experience gained while working with Proshow helps me a lot. But I still have many features to learn in PTE. Best regards, Aleina

Hi Lin! Of course, Christmas is especially pleasant in childhood. And then we grow up and the holidays become like the most ordinary days. But we can create our own mood! Lin, I'm glad your friends invited you for Christmas! It will be a long and interesting trip! And then we will wait for the beautiful movie from the photo! Good luck and good mood to you and your four-legged friend Ruby! Best regards, Aleina

Thanks a lot Lin! I am happy that the video was able to convey exactly this magical Christmas atmosphere. By the way, in Russia at Christmas, in our homes it smells like a Christmas tree and tangerines. I guess that somewhere smells of pastries and holly. Please tell us how Christmas smells in your home.

Greetings, I am new to both your forum and working with the program. For many years I did slide shows in the Proshow Producer program. My greatest love is to do children's fairy-tale and animated projects. I tried to adapt my template for the PTE AV Studio program. I really enjoyed working in it. And I plan to adapt my best templates for PTE AV Studio. I want to show you the result of my work. It uses my author's animation.

How to loop footage playback? And something else...

How to loop footage playback? And something else...
Aleina Show replied to Aleina Show's topic in General Discussion
Thank you for the answer. I am a new user, looking for a program that could be an alternative to Proshow Producer. Of course, I’m used to other functions and therefore I’m interested in what features are built into the PTE AV Studio program itself. So that you can not resort to the help of third-party programs to loop the footage or change its speed. Some functions in the program are not enough for me (or I didn’t find?) Such as transitions for layers, a vignette in the images, or an inverted mask. But I still really liked the program. And I plan to review it and to adapt part of my projects intended for Proshow Producer. But now I continue to test the program. -
How to loop footage playback? And something else...
Aleina Show posted a topic in General Discussion
Hello! Help me please! I have 2 questions for which I could not find answers. 1) There is a footage in the slide that I want to use as a mask. The duration of the footage is 2 seconds, I need to loop its playback for 15 seconds. Is there any way to do this? 2) I collect a frame from several images. For example, a spruce branch and a toy. I am trying to give the overall movement to the frame using modifiers. So that the branch and the toy swing together. I am unable to adjust the center of rotation of the frame. I use the parameter of the center of rotation in the modifiers panel. I set the value to 100 or -100 along the X axis, the result is the same.
