I was able to reproduce the issue with transitions this way. I am creating a test project with multiple images. In version 11 of the program. Leave transitions as default. I am adding a logo. After that, all transitions change to others. And with each new view, the transitions change. Perhaps something else is the trigger for replacing transitions, in my case the logo is definitely the trigger.

I also have a problem with transitions. Previously, I never set default transitions for each project, there was always an dissolve. Now when I open these old projects in version 11, the default transitions are changed to the ones I used in other projects. Sometimes transitions are played as dissolves. And then, after a long time, you change the logo in the same project, for example. At the same time, my transitions automatically change to completely different ones ... Aleina

Today I installed Release Candidate 2, opened 2 projects and again the program closed in the process of viewing the second project. Opened a second time, works fine. That is, there is some instability. Doesn't interfere much with work, but the fact is.

My program closed without warning 3 times yesterday. The situation was such that I opened 2 copies of the program at the same time with different projects in order to copy the slides from one and transfer them to another project. So, when playing the second project, one version of the program simply closed 3 times. Today I tried to repeat this problem, but everything works fine. I didn't understand the reason. Perhaps the projects are too heavy for 2 copies of the programs at the same time. I will still watch. If this is not an accident, then I will write. The rest of the time the program works stably.

This is a good option for personal use, but not suitable for this task, unfortunately. Images with text will not work in this case, since the text in this template is supposed to be replaced by other people. Bad Dancer shares his templates with a wide audience (for which many thanks to him), this increases the interest in the program and the number of its users. Therefore, he is worried about the process of editing his template by people who are not very familiar with the program. Applying the Main Object feature to text layers would solve such problems. I'm afraid that we can't make this task easier, here we need to contact the developers.

Do you want to result in a video with a transparent background so that only your PNG image is visible? If yes, then there is no such function in the program. You need software that supports alpha channel when rendering video. For example Adobe After Effects or Davinci Resolve. But these programs are professional and difficult to master.

There is an option to set an empty PNG image instead of the background in the settings. Then the main color on the preview screen you will see the color of the program interface. Aleina

If I need to shift video pieces several times, for example, by 03.367, I have to take a calculator and count these shifts, calculating the beginning and end of each piece. And it would be bearable if you had to do it once. But my designs are meant to be reusable and often end up in the hands of other people, including newbies. And sometimes they need to change the timing of the slide. In this case, all these pieces of video are shifted and you have to recalculate everything again. Of course, I can count myself, but if such a project falls into the hands of a beginner, then panic begins. Therefore, I prefer to lengthen the video in other programs. And then the weight of these videos and the project becomes very large. And it is necessary or not necessary to add this function, of course, the guys from the development team will decide. We are all creative people and use the PTE program in different ways. Any problem can be solved using additional crutches in the form of third-party software... But adding a video repeat script and a little 'loop' flag will save a huge amount of time and efficiency for those who use these features regularly, for beginners, and for those who just like 'comfortable'.

From the very beginning of working in the program, I asked for the video looping function. I miss this feature CRITICALLY. Because I work with animated videos all the time (not gifs because of the quality) and I am very uncomfortable using third-party programs to lengthen animation videos. Moreover, for the sake of quality, I quite often use the alpha channel and my long videos weigh 10 times more than they could ... if there was a looping function. Calculating the transition time of each video when you have a lot of them in each slide is frustrating. And if you suddenly have to change the time of the slide, then you need to recalculate everything again. For example, I'm currently working on an animation project and the content folder is over 10 GB. And now I have to redo the video twice with the alpha channel (with the mask) to reduce the weight of the project... This looping feature would be VERY important to me.
