Thanks for the great idea for experimenting, MUR! Aleina

Beautiful embodiment of the idea! You are great at creating 3D models in PTE! Aleina
-
I fully support the creation of this topic. And I agree with the proposals of thedom. Aleina

Dom, this is a great implementation of shadows and reflections in your work! Thanks for the screenshots, it is very nice to see everything in close-up. I'm waiting for the finished result! Aleina.

MUR You are well done! Flowers have acquired the necessary volume, the base of the buds looks neat. I agree with the suggestions of the Dom's regarding the diversity of the appearance of the leaves, making them slightly different. Size, shift in Z, blur and color correction. And imitate the shade of flowers on the leaves. And I fully support the idea of creating such a thematic section on the forum. Aleina.

A Book Style Demo From 2018 But Still Relevant I Think
Aleina Show replied to Lin Evans's topic in Slideshows & AV Shows
Lin, this is a very good style and very useful. Users can understand how to make curved pages using this style as an example. Thanks for the demo! Aleina -
thedom It turned out very impressive! The book is like real! I really like your approach to creativity. You do not just apply technical skills when working with the program. You are more an artist. You can clearly see where and how to apply shadows, highlights and other nuances to make the effect as realistic as possible. Bravo! Aleina

thedom, as always, it's beautiful and surprisingly realistic! I would like to more and more seriously study the capabilities of the program, looking at it. Aleina.

Hi MUR! I really liked your flowering effect. This is magical! The idea is great. What could I suggest for improvement? Firstly, the sharp bases of the buds stand out strongly against the background of the stems. I would make a soft-edged mask for blurring in these areas. And you can add volume to the flowers. For example, make the front petals with color correction a little darker than the rear. This will make the image more voluminous and real. Best regards Aleina

nelson, goddi Thank you, an outside view is very important. Kind regards, Aleina

Hi Paul, Thank you for your opinion! I also agree that reflection is lost on light surfaces (with which we have suffered a lot). We had glossy paper, but then it immediately turned into a matte one. Therefore, I initially abandoned this idea. And if I didn’t leave a bit of transparency, it would be even worse. But there are fans of naturalism, so this option also has a right to exist. Kind regards, Aleina

nelson, Thank you! Welcome to our club of style experimenters! My friends, I had to continue the experiment on this style. Viewers on my YouTube channel asked me to make an effect to unfold the photo with the empty back side. I tried to make several options. Pure white color and a little sepia. And also I decided to leave a little transparency on the back side. It seems to me that adding volume to pure white color when opening a photograph is much more difficult. Rate the result, please. Do you think the effect looks better, with an empty back side, or as it was before? Aleina.

thedom, stranger2156 Thank you very much for your rating! Yes, the bounce effect gives even more realism. Thedom, I think that this effect provides wide horizons for creativity. I wish you success in your future work! Aleina.

This is a wonderful sight! A play of shadow and light creates stunning realism. Thank you for your talent! Aleina.

stranger2156 Thanks, Paul, for your advice! I continued experiments to improve the effect. Yes, you are right, adding a gloss effect was a rather complicated process. I tried several options for adding masks. Not all of them worked correctly. But still the problem was resolved. thedom Thanks again for the excellent style and for the collective stimulation to study the complexities of the program! Kind regardsб Aleina

It turned out very interesting, thanks. We look forward to continuing.

thedom Collective stimulation brings first results. My version is almost ready. Thanks for the idea of how to make the style adaptive for any image! I’ll work a little more on the shadows and show the result. Kind regards, Aleina P.S. Result...
-
thedom I congratulate you, you got a wonderful effect! Now you have set the motion vector to all who like to implement complex effects in the program! Kind regards Aleina
-
It would be great! But I have not seen software where such a function has already been implemented. This is probably too complicated. It remains to hope for the talent of our developers.

thedom, I'm in a light shock, maestro! How beautiful and natural it is! Bravo! Best regards, Aleina.
