I have already encountered situations when, even without changing the sliding time, the concept of “repetitions” in modifiers has its drawbacks. For example, we have an object with three key frames. The time of the first KF is 0 seconds, the second is 1.5 seconds, and the third is 5.5 seconds (1.5 seconds before the end of the slide). The object should swing evenly throughout the slide with an amplitude equal to one (rotation C). In the second KF, I need to set the animation speed with a certain acceleration for rotation along Y. This means that in the second (as in the third) KF I will have to duplicate the swing rotation modifier along C. How then should I maintain uniform sway along the C axis for everything slide time? In my opinion, the concept of repetition itself, as in the case described above, is not very flexible. Similar problems are solved, for example, in Proshow Producer as follows. Instead of “repetitions” - the frequency of the amplitude (a constant value that does not depend on the time distances between KF). Plus, the ability to select for each individual modifier the range of action for a specific parameter (for all KF or for a specific KF).

There is no such opportunity yet. You can check the transition with another time only after creating it. There is no reason to worry about it, if you set the time of the old effect (used to create the transition) for the created transition, you will not notice the difference. Igor promised in future versions to set the transition time arbitrarily, when creating it.

Hi, It is necessary to compress the old effect to 2 seconds in time, copy all its contents into O&A and paste it into a new transition. Then simply copy all the settings from the keyframes of the corresponding effect objects into Slide1 and Slide2. If necessary, the new Slide1 and Slide2 can be duplicated, if it was necessary in the old effect. Unnecessary effect objects are then deleted. Paul

With the exception of deformed planes (pages in the book), ripples on the water and effects with a huge amount of video (Proshow Producer with the video does not work well if there is a lot of it in the slide). No, we use different methods. Instead of shifting along Z, I used a zoom in the frame, a slightly different offset of the pictures and the center of rotation for them. Also, masks were used, which allows you to save the effect while reducing the overall image smaller than the screen. Paul

In principle, at first I did this when auto save was turned on, I always opened a previously saved test project. Constantly searching if necessary a test file to open, a little annoying. As for the template, I did not think then, for quick access to it ... you need to look. For comparison, I want to bring experience with ProShow Producer. There I have an automatic backup every 5 minutes. Moreover, the program does not require me to save the project when I start adding slides to the timeline and working with them for simple testing. In other words, backup copies of a project begin to be saved only when I myself decide to save the project to some folder. And only then will backups begin to form there. I would be happy with everything if automatic saving were included in PTE, but the decision about the first save is up to me, at the right time. But not behind the popup every 5 minutes, offering me to save the project. And if I do not need to save the test work, it is enough once, when they ask me about it - when the program is closed. Paul

Hello everybody, in the PTE there are no internal transitions in slides that could be applied to objects (photos, video, clip art, text). Who worked before with ProShow Producer is very upset for this reason. I constantly hear on my forum, but somehow it was good with internal transitions. Of course, they are not literally transitions, because there is no such possibility in the PTE to create internal transitions. But you can find a way out of this situation, if desired.
