Thanks for your comment. @Digartal, I'm glad you found them useful. I just watched your presentation, and as you said, it's something to be happy about. I really liked both the effects and the animations. Congratulations!

Error Creating style version 12 [SOLVED]
jienense replied to jienense's topic in PTE AV Studio 12 Beta
Thank you very much, it works well. -
Taking advantage of the new transition editor in Pte AV Studio 12, which saved a lot of time when creating them, I made 20 transitions, each approximately 10 seconds long. In this case, the slide has a duration of 9.90 seconds, the same as the transition. I'm including a link in case anyone wants to try them. https://javier-pteavstudio.blogspot.com/2026/06/particles-transitions.html

Error Creating style version 12 [SOLVED]
jienense replied to jienense's topic in PTE AV Studio 12 Beta
I'm not sure if it's a problem or how it normally works, but depending on the slide's position, the timing changes. I'll show you a video... https://www.swisstransfer.com/d/6f7beef4-1ae6-4b88-a66a-3a99bc42d081 -
Error Creating style version 12 [SOLVED]
jienense replied to jienense's topic in PTE AV Studio 12 Beta
You're right, I hadn't noticed. I thought it happened in all situations, but it only happens when there's only one slide, and if there are more, only on the last one, as you say. -
Error Creating style version 12 [SOLVED]
jienense replied to jienense's topic in PTE AV Studio 12 Beta
I hadn't looked at this error again, but it keeps appearing when creating a style in version 12. When applied, it adds 2 seconds to the time. I don't know if it's just me or if other people are experiencing it. creating style: applying style: -
If that's the case, the problem arises when creating the new transition. I apologize for not explaining it better; Google translations sometimes lead to different interpretations.

I'm sending you a transition for you to try editing. The two masks it contains exceed the time limit. The question is, how can I fix this so that the masks finish playing? https://transfer.it/t/CeXF1dkHBDRb
-
Como dice "Socu", el problema surge al crear una nueva transición; si la máscara de vídeo tiene una duración de 7 segundos, es imposible crear la transición porque no se reproducirá en su totalidad dentro de los 2 segundos que tiene como máximo la transición.
-
Hi everyone, When creating a new transition, if it only contains images, it's perfect. The problem arises when using video masks in a transition. If the video is, for example, 6 seconds long, there's no way to make it play completely. I'm currently working on some transitions where the video mask is 9 seconds long. I sped it up in another external program to make it 4 seconds long, then sped it up again to 200% to fit within the 2-second limit, and then applied it, setting the transition to 6 seconds on the timeline. The result is a bit jarring. Having to speed up the video only to slow it down again once the transition is applied isn't a desirable solution, in my opinion.

I don't quite understand the reason for this restriction either. When I create a style, I can use as much time as I want, so why can't I do that in a transition? There must be a reason, and it would be good to know it.

Hi Socu, Thank you for that undeserved medal

Hi chanfi22, Thanks for the comment.

Very fine work. The text characters in both white and black, which allows for subtraction, work very well. More testing with masks.
-
Hi Renato, I use Photoshop, but you can use any graphics editor like GIMP, and even the new Paint program lets you create those masks. But you don't need to modify those masks; they work with any photo you upload. Best regards.
-
I've added a link to the first post, thanks for commenting, Renato.
-
Hi Judy, I can share it, but keep in mind that when changing photos, the masks will need to be readjusted. There is no example, it is a demonstration. Regards Javier
-
If the problem is that you don't have Photoshop, you can do it in GIMP, which is free; you can even create the mask with the current version of Paint, which supports multiple layers. Mask with paint

Thanks for your comment, it's not complicated once you get the idea.

I created a style in version 12 with a 17" slide + 2" transition with sound effects, but when I apply it, it comes out as 19" + 2", which causes the audio to become out of sync. I tested it in version 11, and it applies the 17" + 2" correctly. Could this be a bug in version 12?
-
Hi, I'm glad you like it, thanks for the comments. It's practically all done with PTE, although, of course, if you want to change photos, you have to change masks, which is why I haven't shared the project. The waterfall was animated with DP Animation Maker. (This gives you an idea.)
