  1. Some beautiful light that was nicely captured and presented. Sleepy little town Tin Can Bay (or it was when I was last there many years ago) and I guess most of these are mostly sunrise? When the tide goes out it certainly goes out and leaves a lovely surface to reflect the coloured sky. The use of the occasional IR image works well also. Looks like you might have had some rainy weather and did well to dodge the showers and clouds. Cheers Mark
  2. No matter how old you are, always good to have dreams. Nicely presented.
  3. I have not made a show for a while and getting a little rusty (not that it was shiny in the first place). Put this short AV together after a shoot last week using images captured on the mobile. Some editing on the phone and PC with story grabbed from AI and images inserted around it using PTE AV Studio 11. Cheers Mark https://youtu.be/m7ttB2iu8cw
  4. Wow this is great. Not sure how my images will look in it but works really well for people shots.
  5. Very impressive, short in duration but long in quality and impact. Thanks for sharing. Mark
  6. I subscribe to Midjourney and the images generated are very photo-realistic. Midjourney now allows you to expand right, left, up, and down and then use PS to fill the 4 blank corners. Recently a lot of AI Upscalers have been developed and some images upsized to 150 cm for free and even bigger for a paid subscription. Adobe Beta is also great at replacing content and reframing images See the examples below. The first one used the original image to change it with AI from 3:2 to a larger 1:1. THe second image used AI to replace my car in a 35-image 360-degree panorama.
  7. Thanks Dave, will try this out. Ironically a 360-degree equirectangular image for projection is 1:2 ratio or 2 square images each with 180-degree views. Mark
  8. I guess the answer to that is what is the greatest leap? How often do you make Av's? If you are coming from Windows 10 to Windows 11 the changes are not that dramatic from memory and most are security-based improvements. It will also depend on the age of your PC as some older PC's will not benefit from the upgrade. As you use your PC more regularly, have a reasonably new PC maybe Windows Upgrade first as it will be relatively painless (except moving the Toolbar alignment to the left which is easily fixed). On the other hand, it sounds like you are using the PC to make AV's and if you have already purchased it, install and grow into it. Just use the feature above first and get to know the other improvements if applicable over time. Whatever you decide enjoy. Cheers Mark
  9. The equivalent of formatting a card in error and getting it back with recovery software - LOL.
  10. Hello In Windows 11, I dragged the vertical or horizontal border and it expands onto the next screen. I have 4 screens so I can extend it over 2 adjacent or 4 screens if necessary. Once closed, it re-opens with the same settings. Mark
  11. Hello Igor - no problem, thank you for your reply, it is appreciated.
  12. A series of top-down drone images and videos from a place near Yamba just south of where I live in northern NSW Australia. The series was compiled in a short AV presentation using PTE AV Studio V11.

  13. Yes Igor - a mobile phone version for Android and iPhone. I assumed that was what Barry was referring to? I am guessing it would be hard to do and the cost vs benefit would be unsure. Just looking for applications for my mobile as they become better quality and are getting more use and mobiles have completely destroyed the compact camera business. Still use my cameras and drone with the PC PC but use the mobile a lot more now that I have the S23 Ultra and a 512GB capacity. Cheers Mark
  14. Hello Igor I noticed Barry Beeckham mentioned this in late December 2019 and the reply was it could be looked at? Although there were 23 pages of Search Results which I did not look at all, is there an update on this request? With mobile phone cameras improving image quality and other features dramatically in recent times, it is hard finding a good post-capture AV application. On saying all that it would also be hard working on a smaller screen not to mention the cost outweighing the benefit and size of the potential market. Cheers Mark
  15. I used PTe AV Studio to make the opening for this video. It took a bit of time and is still not perfect but it is a template that I can re-use. The actual video was made in an AI application from several individual drone videos.

  20. Thank you, appreciate your comment.
  21. Is it fixed now as I just downloaded and installed the extension? Is that what you are after? Googled "HEIC Viewer Microsoft Strore" - found, opened, downloaded and installed. https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/heic-image-viewer/9MXHSBJRS7SH?hl=en-us&gl=us
  22. Made this short AV last night and used masks for the first time. While it could do with some fine-tuning, about to head off on a holiday so hope to remember the process when I get back. Cheers Mark
  23. Jerusalem Creek is at the northern end of this National Park and it stretches down to Iluka in the south. This AV features mono-infrared images with the inclusion of some colour mobile and drone images using a top-down video of Jerusalem Creek flowing in the background. Cheers Mark
  24. This is where I was on Wednesday afternoon. Would have been about 12 fishermen in different places around the headland at sunset. Sunset is a good feeding time but I did not see any getting caught although I was more focused on the drone operation. Most of the coastline is like this except for parts inside the Barrier Reef where there is no surf/waves but still plenty of fish.
  25. Hi Dave Perhaps the issue is that the link did not work? Did you go directly to the Microsoft Store? I just checked, opened, and searched HEIC Batch Converter, found numerous options and could download and install. Cannot send you the link but here is a screenshot. This detailed information from Adobe https://www.adobe.com/au/creativecloud/file-types/image/raster/heic-file.html. Hope this helps? Mark
