  1. Thanks. I saw that option. I’ll try that if the new dvd player doesn’t work.
  2. I am attempting to publish a DVD Video disk through PTE AV Studio 10.5.9 (64-bit) build 3 that I can use to create copies to give out of a high school reunion video I made. Only 1 in 4 attempts burned successfully, but it would not play on my Sony DVD player. I believe the project was set to PAL instead of NTSC format on that one. I had to reduce the bit rate from 7000 to 6000 to compensate for it to fit on a 4.7 GB disk. My first two attempts (unsuccessful) were at 8X speed, and this one was at 4X. I tried another 4X speed in NTSC format, but it would not burn successfully. The error I am getting after burning started and near 99% is "TrackAtOnceFrom Tree Failed, exception 8, status 2, text "CStarBurn_ScsiTransportSPTI::ExecuteCDB(): Command Failed" then after that, "Operation failed." I am using a Dell DW316 external USB 2.0 DVD drive. Granted, the Dell external drive is a few years old, and I understand it may be at fault, so I have ordered a new external DVD drive. My PC is a 2-year-old Intel NUC with a big SSD HD and 32G or so of RAM. I closed all apps that were running except PTE AV. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.
  3. davegee, thanks. That is my main plan and it has worked on the 4 TV's I have tried so far. However, I have a TV that will only let you view photos from a USB stick. It doesn't recognize the MP4 video. And the DVD player that is attached to it doesn't have an USB input. It's possible that if there were a Roku attached to the TV or a newer BR player, that it would work. I haven't tried that yet. I'm just working on a Plan B for those that just have an old, plain TV setup. I may just have to burn a low quality DVD for those that may have that setup. Thanks.
  4. I am fairly new to PTE-AV Studio. I have created a few videos and published as MP4 file. However, I may need to publish a video to DVD and the only option I see is using WnSoft Video Builder which creates a 720x480 resolution video. Is there an alternative to WnSoft that will produce a higher quality DVD or is there another way to do it? I really love PTE-AV Studio and it has made my life easier in producing a High School Reunion video. For me, it is much easier to use than Movavi and Corel. Thanks in advance.
  5. Tom, Thanks for your info. I'm in the process of publishing to DVD-Video Disc as I type this. I realized since this is a High School reunion slideshow/video I have created, the quality of scanned pictures from high school annuals isn't that great anyway so I may go with the DVD-Video option. I had to drop the bit rate a notch for it to fit onto the 4.7G disc so I'll see what it looks and sounds like. I appreciate your input. Craig
  6. I want to create a DVD to play in DVD/BluRay player that has Menu system to choose from 2 or 3 included videos. This would be like a regular DVD TV movie where you are able to choose different episodes among those included on the disc. This option looks to be available if I choose Publish>DVD-Video Disc but not in Publish>HD and 4K Video. However the DVD-Video Disc option is only 720x480 and I prefer a higher resolution. Am I missing something or perhaps I don't understand the process? Thanks for your help.
