Peter have tried all combo's of the view tab and aways get the bmp to show but in retrospect , when i originally opened the pte there was nothing showing in the left panel until i directed the pte to the location of Colins file G:\1_P2E HOLDER\DOWNLOADS FROM COTTAGE ETC\1 JULY 09 COTTAGE ETC\Colin Hill and then the bmp showed and i just added it with the add slide command so maybe he was in the wrong location when he opened the pte initially like i was which goes back to what we have tried to stress the importance of having all slides and material for the project in a properly named folder ken

Peter et al the original pte has no mention of the bmp but the revised one that i made does ShowPic=1 Picture=G:\1_P2E HOLDER\DOWNLOADS FROM COTTAGE ETC\1 JULY 09 COTTAGE ETC\Colin Hill\2009-6-16_12-17-48-959.BMP how does his explanation -- Administrator IDs and User IDs have anything to do with the pte not showing the pict? I am not too swift with the contents of pte's and i looked for obvious faults -- no mention of the bmp was obvious as you say KEEP it SIMPLE so IMHO Colin should forget about permissions till he becomes more familiar with the workings of his system ken

FURTHER TO STU'S ENTRY if you go to C:\Program Files\WnSoft PicturesToExe you will see all the versions you have installed and for example if you go to C:\Program Files\WnSoft PicturesToExe\5.6 and open the folder and then the exe in that folder, when you are ready to start the video builder , the video builder in that folder C:\Program Files\WnSoft PicturesToExe\5.6 will open i believe that is the way Igor designed it to work ken

The thing that puzzles me is the people that are entering competitions all the time do not seem to be complaining about the sound ability of the current state of pte so that leaves me to believe "it aint broke so dont try fixin it" ken

This parrot was so terrible, it could swear for five minutes straight without repeating itself. LESS THAN 100 MB -- PUT IT IN A ZIP AND UPLOAD TO MEDIAFIRE greater than 100 mb put in sections labelled 1.2.3 etc and he will put it together -- make sure all pieces are in the zip's incl the pte ken

Sorry for such stupid bugs which I've missed in first beta releases. igor admits his problem and he will fix it what i am saying is the dom's template will not run on the latest beta and Igor will have to fix it -in his own time - and the people that are trying to run the affected template should be dealing with Dom directly and him taking all the problems to Igor from his own site to see if Igor can resolve it "dont wash your laundry in public" is another way of saying -- dont let the competition know that the #1 software author is having problems with somebody elses template with his latest beta, take it off list ken
