  3. Bill post your wav file <100 mb at http://www.mediafire.com/ set up and acct and when you have it uploaded you wil get a link to the file - if you post it in this thread somebody will download it and try to convert to a mp3 --sized to be able to mail it back to you -- off course you will have to provide your email addie or you can do as Jeff suggests play it in an editor such as Audacity -- recording it and saving as an mp3 what is name of the wav and where did you get it? ken

  9. My questions are as follows: Will PTE v5.0 read the PTE v4.47 *.pte file? If so, will the sequence, when run under PTE v5.0 behave the same as it did under PTE 4.47? I'm a big believer in "one small step at a time" and I'd like to start by simply converting the *.pte files to PTE v5.0 format (using "File...Save as..." of course in order to preserve the v4.47 copy). Peter when you open the 447 pte with ver 5 do a save as under a different name 447 will not open a ver 5 pte when you want to reopen the 447 show open the 447 program first and direct it to the 447 pte there a few things - a lot:) -- that react differently - take one step at a time with frequent saves get Jeff and Lin's pdf tutorial as well http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....?showtopic=7202 and start visiting regular as Igor is back in the saddle and things will quite likely be changing very soon ken
  10. try http://dvddemystified.com/dvdfaq.html and http://www.videohelp.com/ ken

  14. I just made a dvd from an ISO that i had made last Nov with ver pre 8 for the burn I used vb 5 issued june 16 07 the iso was >500 mb and run time is >9 mins never done it before - worked fine a footnote:) the original complete file dvd plays fine in dvd/tv setup and reverts to menu at completion -- the iso convert plays continuous ken
  15. some iso info here http://www.digitalfaq.com/dvdguides/author...dvd/nerodvd.htm http://www.videohelp.com/author http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/40/59/
  16. well if you have another dvd authoring suite -- like nero deluxe for example - import the video ts folder to nero vision express and make your dvd/video this will at least get some pressure off you and next time you have a video problem please put it in the proper section -- it easier to keep track of for all parties http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?showforum=4 ken

  21. using my avg 9.53 UPDATED Aug 14 07 I just checked Barry's Lakeside in my Sept 05 file cd and it is indicating a threat with AVG but tested clean with CA Barry's Ireland,Cumbria and Winter in the same folder all tested clean with avg Barry any idea what version they were made with? be very careful doing a system scan at this time - last time this false virus occured AVG trashed +- 3 gb of exe's on me ken
  22. from igor Jan 15 2007, 08:19 AM http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....ost&p=36212 Please help us to solve this problem. We've sent a request to AVG developers 18 days ago and still not response and Kula slide show created in PicturesToExe v3.60 mistakenly detected as a virus, yet. "Kula". an example of slide show created in v3.60: http://www.kulamaui.com/slideshow/kula.exe (20 MB) GriSoft, authors of AVG antivirus: http://grisoft.com ken
  23. Bruce GRISOFT AVG is my running anti virus with ca bu = CA Anti-Virus as my installed back up so when i download something i can double check it with a r mouse command to have AVG and or CA check it ken
  24. i just rechecked the 2 files that in the past indicated a false virus with avg and they tested ok my avg 9.53 UPDATED Aug 14 07 although it is not recommended. i run avg with bu from ca and whenever the virus alarm comes up i check with both -avg runs in the background. whenever i try to open a powerpoint show the file is scanned before it opens which knd of slows things down possibly you should search out a free on line scanner and run it against the pte exe thatis causing a problem also make copies of all your pte exe's and re check all your pte exe's with avg ken
  25. as i remember, in the past Igor or somebody on the team will advise us last time - 2-3 yrs ago, it was a severe asthma attack and he was out of action forquite some time ken
