if you do not have a screen capture program open ms paint with what you want to to capture on the screen press the "alt" key and the "print scrn" key this copies the screen capture to the clipboard click past in ms paint and save the image as a jpg to a directory where you can find it i use this http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,...ml?tk=nl_hsxdwn and have it working in the background all the time ken

from deep within my memory bank:) win 3.1 and dos files could only accept 11 characters along came win 95 and i believe the max file name got bumped up to 256 but burning protocol is still limited to 11 sometimes things slip thru the cracks ken

Howard if you place a comment in the comment line of the main screen, by default it goes where the comments are selected to go project options/comments my default is top and the text is kind of masked by the tv safe zone - but i drag it wherever i want then in the O/A section i can increase the size of the text by grabbing the handles of the outline holding the text ken

one does not have a problem if they get the money up front and deals with honest people and of course has a fair price:) ken

Bob good point on the usb and or firewire -- why tie up puter while making a dvd but i would stay away from a combo -- techies dont like 'em if you need work on them --been there done that ken

take the svhs + an audio feed from computer to a dvd recorder then output thefeed your big tv you dont get full screen but as they say something better than nothin' i preview shows all the time to 2 tv's by using the above method -- i have not had the inclination to bring my dvd recorder up to this area -- something would have to go ken

John, i think in ver 4.48, when you came to that slide with music clip, the custom slide "P" button would be depressed and i think Igor is to replace that button in ver 5 it is a confusing issue - see thread http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index....ost&p=41125 and i just now opened it with ver 11 and the only thing missing is the P button ken

what dvd authoring program are you using roxio suite nero ultra suite etc you must have a suite to make the dvd are you not able to create the temp vid file? {avi} ken

ver of windows amt of ram processor graphics card if you do start run type in dxdiag you will get a lot of info when somebody else asks you for specific info ken
