hate to play devil's advocAte but "contains a java script" how many people block scripts in their fear of all the "bad " things they heard about it or their sys admin has turned it off? when you have people that have problems example cant get a cd to play and now you are asking them to turn on the features that are turned off for their protection - are we opening another can of worms when MS brought out IE 5, due to all the whining that was going on at the time, they turned off all the plugins that allowed people to view pages the way they were designed -Netsacape, Apple etc plugins - i could not even view MSN pages properly and even they did not know why -- i had to install SUN'S Java package to view things as they were made and quite quickly advised them of the fix -- within 2 weeks +- there was another version of IE 5 issued with smarts issued -- i have never disabled Sun's product - MS's product is turned off Personally i think the little popups are great-- they save me time -- but i have a vague idea of what is going on -- what about the person that does not how to start a cd if it doesn't have "autorun"? see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mouseover ken

Seeeing as Al started the ws thread many moons ago and Al, myself and the "hawk" have caused the dvd makers to put on an xtra shift to supply our needs of dvd's , i have to agree with Al. He has widescreen and a projector at home , Hawk drives to his daughter's to use her ws plasma, and I head for my dealer to use their numerous screens -- including a 100"/dvd/projector setup. we 3 have tried to inform the forum of all our findings and what we are up against -- Al hand delivered DVD's to me from him and Hawk on his journey south last year and I verified what they were seeing at my dealer"s place of business as well as testing them at friends home's that have ws tv's we have discussed different pixels topics many times and lets face it,we are not Hollywood or the BBC -- we are doing the best we can with the tools we have. I spend a lot of time going to tv dealers and look for "shimmer" etc on te screens -- they have the same problems we have - - the difference being TV VS MONITOR VIEWING as one member used to say "think outside the box" ken

Larry are you trying to open the file in your mail program or windows explorer when did it start windows xp? do a system restore to before it started if you have not installed a bunch of stuff do a screen shot paste it into paint save it as a jpg to a known spot -- desktop then when you reply to this letter below this pane is a slot file attachments select browse and direct to desktop -- find your screenshot, then click add this attachment and click add reply ken
