USING A TEST SHOW this show had been started using 4.48, then beta 1,2,3 and 4 - i had it selected to do all transitions -- all worked fine -- it has some pan and zoom features at the start - 87 picts, 2 mp3's - the exe = 44.428 mb, i converted the 60.338 mb temp avi to a mpeg 2 - 206.510 mb file with WinAvi -- conversion took 39 mins. i then started Nero 6.6 suite and imported both files [ the tmp vid and the mpeg2]into nero express 3 and made a dvd successfully no hiccups good job Igor and team ken

Bill generally software thatis bundled with a dvd burner is a lite version will make vcd's and svcd on cd blanks not on dvd blanks you will need a complete authoring suite -- what are you using to make the vcd - svcd's this site describes one that a few members use for authoring -- it is part of a complete suite http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/125/59/ commericial DVD on glacier national park -- you are going to have to rip it backwards to an avi or mpg and then with the complete authoring suite you will import the resulting file into the authoring program along with the the temp avi you have made with your show but you will not likely have enough space on your dvd blank for the 2 -- commercial dvd's are generally 9 gb see http://dvddemystified.com/dvdfaq.html http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&c2coff=1...to+mpeg&spell=1 you better figure out how to make an ordinary dvd first before you jump into the ripping territory --- time to do and system power are both very important ken

Jeff, as long as you were happy that is all that matters - i thought your shots were great -- in some cases it is hard to decide vert/horiz -- i never shoot vert any more -- if i feel it should be cropped i do it --- way back when i worked the company used a pro photographer to make slide shows for safety etc presentations - he developed his own so that our secrets were not public - he told me i if was shooting for tv always shoot horizontal and i havent worked for 14 yrs end of this month and it was long before that that he gave me the tip time flys when you are havin' fun ken

John i dont think the $20 plus version gives movie the pro does but it is $200 for the feature ken http://earth.google.com/earth_pro.html Google Earth: * Free for personal use. * Sophisticated streaming technology delivers the data to you as you need it. * Imagery and 3D data depict the entire earth - Terabytes of aerial and satellite imagery depict cities around the world in high-resolution detail. * Local search lets you search for restaurants, hotels, and even driving directions. JANE download thes demos from Igor and see if the will run http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=4327 1) "PteShow" - http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/show/PteShow.zip (12 MB) EXE file Source files of this project: http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/show/PteShow_sources.zip (12 MB) Powerful slide-show with high quality 2400x1500 images. Intended for modern video cards. 2) "Flowers" - http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/show/Flowers.zip (1.5 MB) EXE file and source files. 1024x768 images. Works fine almost on any video card. 3) "NoResizing" - http://www.wnsoft.com/apr/show/NoResizing.zip (1.5 MB) EXE file and source files. This example shows how to display images as is without resizing on any screen display. Exactly pixel in pixel. But personally I don't like this option. It better to use scalable images, as in settings by default. and from what has been showing up you need 128 mb of video ram specs from ati http://www.ati.com/products/radeonxpress1100mob/specs.html http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=+ATI+R...le+Search&meta= ken
