the other day i bought a used Olympus E20N and while reading thru the owners manual i came across the following info re camera setting's - PROGRESSIVE SCAN -- PS MODE Now with all the complaints over the years re jaggies -- there is the possiblity that some camera's are set up improper ken PS mode and Quality Settings • The SHQ, HQ, and SQ settings can be used. (The RAW and TIFF setting cannot be used.) Note • The maximum number of sequential shots which can be taken using the burst mode increases to seven in the PS mode. • In the PS mode, up to six memory gauge bars are lit. (One memory gauge bar indicates one shot image in the buffer.) After taking a seventh shot, the memory gauge starts blinking. If the memory gauge is blinking, you cannot continue shooting. • Smear can occur when you are taking a picture in a bright place, for example, under a bright sky. • Colors may be blurred, or jaggies may appear, along angled lines in the shot image. the registry file should look similar to this screenshot and the instructions sent by wnsoft Sun 11/26/2000 7:24 AM How to activate the key: 1) Close all running copies of PicturesToExe. 2) Save attached file to any folder and double-click on it in Windows Explorer. 3) Run PicturesToExe. The program is registered now! ken

with the pictoexe program shut down if it is a .reg file I believe you should be able to double click it and it will install itself into the registry ken

John maybe you should modify this quote to suit your rules and include it on the entry form. ken quote from PCWorld * Hot Pic of the Week * Get published, get famous! Each week, we select our favorite reader-submitted photo based on creativity, originality, and technique. Every month, the best of the weekly winners gets a prize valued at between $10 and $100. A gentle reminder, folks: We disqualify some really wonderful pictures every week because the submissions don't follow the rules. Be sure to include everything we ask for in your e-mail message, including a description of your picture and your complete contact information, or your entry is wasted! Here's how to enter: Send us your photograph in JPEG format at a resolution no higher than 640 by 480 pixels. Our e-mail address is: hotpic@pcworld.com Entries at higher resolutions will be immediately disqualified. If necessary, use an image editing program to reduce the file size of your image before e-mailing it to us. Include the title of your photo along with a short description and how you photographed it. Don't forget to send your name, e-mail address, and postal address. Before entering, please read the full description of the contest rules and regs at: http://www.pcworld.com/resource/article/0,...l_dfxrsc,00.asp

Andrew still does it on my system - running it from the main screen toast very noticeable but if i run it from the animation window via the toast between preview and project options it is hardly noticeable --- got the wife down to observe it and they are both noticeble equally now ken

Andy i tried several times to capture it but is too fast and then you have to go thru whole show again -- and am finding pattern does not seem consistant in size - the length seems to vary across screen ken
-
Andy I can just run it -- not really smooth on the horizontal at times -vert- but my card likely at fault increase in tempo was ok for me - music just ends and your advert comes on - neat stuff:) i do get a slight horizontal flash across the top of the 4 very obvious quick changes picts fyi i had to do a save as on target http://www.imagescapes.co.nz/private/test%20sync.exe to get the download to come down complete you should get a load of wine for that one mate ken
-
also see http://dvddemystified.com/dvdfaq.html if the dvd you burned works in your burner/pc then i think it is safe to say it is your home player that is at fault ken
