Dave would the same thing be true in regards to "fonts" -- in the past we have had members say that they made an exe with fancy fonts and when played on somebody else's system they did not show as they were not installed -- does power point act the same way re fonts? ken

well the menu's can be customized but it is not user friendly that is why i bought nero i was brought up on adaptec/easycd and i bought roxio ver 7 because i thought the gui would be similar bad mistake since then roxio has changed hands again to another company too bad Corel -- the original cd burner - had not kept their act together ken

Gilbert each show with all it 's parts [music - picts pte exe etc] should be in a separate appropriately named folder - if not start to compile each show by making a separate folder - then when you have all the parts assembled -- make sure the show runs from that folder -- then burn the complete folders to cd ken

You likely got the Roxio pkg as part of a bundle and this is quite common when you buy at piece of hardware. for example you might buy a new burner for $50 and included is a piece of burner software - these are generally Lite versions the Nero ultra suite that i and others on the forum use regularily was +- $100 incl tax it allows use to change menu backgrounds, buttons, how the show proceeds etc via a very easy to use GUI not much help but many others have been in your situation including "yours truly" ken

Lin tho' there was some pixel movement on some shots it was very minimal on others. I have watched it several times on my 19" LCD monitor and via the svhs output to the tv's and same was not objectionable - i guess it depends on the end use the 100 mb+ flv file is a keeper -- to studied "somethin better than nuthin" You make me very jealous of your talents ken

Hi, I don't think I have to give my personal reasons for wanting to say this, but I know we all feel the same way for wanting world peace. After reading some of the seasons greatings all this became clear, WE, want to do something. So lets show the world how we feel. How? Simple. If every forum member was to submit a maximum of three images that symbolise peace, we would produce a members AV and show our message to all Nations. ( not graphic images of violence but every-day living, culture and human kindness etc. etc). Lets have some "chocolate box" landscapes etc, its up to you use your imagination and creativity. this is just an idea for now but one that WILL come to fruition very soon, as soon as all the logistics and web hosting are sorted. Al has already offered his site. So come on guys and gals get the dust of your camera and your **** (Butt) out of that computer chair, Then give us a commitment here. and watch this space. Dave. ED i got a gig of ram my graphics card http://www.ati.com/products/radeon9000/aiw9000pro/index.html but i have a 2.8 mghz processor so i have no problem viewing the show -- it runs smooth as silk Patrick was not in favour of the "peace" show from the start and he does not have the horsepower to run the show with his current system and if i remember right you were complaining early on re the direction the project was going -- the show was not even put together -- all the picts were not in -- how many picts did we get from 2800+- members -- we got more excuses as to why they were so busy -- we were looking for royalty free music -- no offers you have to visit the forum daily , read ALL postings in every section not just the one's that strike your fancy with all the complaining this project generated we will be lucky to get another one to fly but who knows Maybe just Maybe somebody will jump into the breach and then ?? btw Ed you are listed in the credits have done a screenshot for you for posterity ken
