"That's it: 1920x1080." I believe = 16:9 years ago Dave and I had a discussion off list - I sent him a series of picts to prove my point 4:3 compared to 19:9 Eric's last 2 shows -- if you read my comments I said " full ws" -- that means no black bars on the screen here is a perfect example of Dave's work -- no black bars -- full screen http://www.beechbroo...tes.asp?id=2050 if you take the time and get some of the shows at Beechbrook you see that very few of the shows listed for downloads are full screen obtw i sold all my color darkroom equipment 1990+- retired RETIRED AUG 31 1993 ken I have moved this thread to the general pte area ken

you say " (Originals are never shot in widescreen for fairly obvious reasons.)" why I shoot ws mode all the time and never have the problem of black bars on my ws tv -- the ultimate end point of my work ken
-
Eric I would have did fades for transitions for first half nothing you could do about the announcer on the craft - he should take lessons from PTE alumni) otherwise better video than somerset = full ws - picts sharp ken
-

Igor asks 2. Do I understand rightly that all topics related with the timeline will be moved to the Audio section?" my feelings are ALL NEW AUDIO questions will go to the new section -- old questions should stay where they are as some people may have built up a collection of links to audio related threads Also - when a question is asked, the originator must say what version they are referring to ken
-
Dave as long as it is audio - i don't feel it matters what version it is there are bound to be " it worked this way in ver x.xx" statements --they come up in the PTE program area and Igor tries to answer why it cannot be in the present version really the object of separate areas is to make it easier to find answers both for newbies and oldies alike ken

here is an example of what moderators are faced -- the title was Lightroom Tutorials PDF file format http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums/index.php?/topic/15891-lightroom-tutorials/page__view__findpost__p__105257 a lot of discussion but the thread got out of hand -- when i said so , all i got was the usual whine that i was being too severe more links were provided the thread continued but very few entiries pertaining to the title Lightroom Tutorials PDF file format -- "tutorials" Peter was going to stop things but did not Peter packed it in shortly after as a moderator ken
