you likely do not have the proper codec to play it if you check your temp internet folder it will be there -- same is +- 5 mb you might try copying it out of there to someplace else on your drive then see http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ get their free player it will play pretty well anything within reason k

Yes, HD video requires much more modern PC (especially CPU and video card) than PTE v5.00 Igor Kokarev therefore if your system will play the MS clips you should have no problem with version 5 ken
-
Igor are you saying that the clips at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsme...ase.aspx#sysreq require more power than ver 5 ken

there are some clips at this site http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsme...ase.aspx#sysreq and system requirements req'd if you want to really test what your system can do my system did not meet the Optimum Configuration (to play 1080p video with 5.1 surround sound) but it would play the clips with no problem and i downloaded all clips and the ones that would let me i burned into a dvd with no problem to the enjoyment of the grandkids so i would suggest having a look and see what your box will do instead of worrying about what is coming - i have made 350 mb p2e shows just to see if i could -- experiment with what you have -- you might be surprised ken

Sott i still use my McBeth colour chart when things do not look right to calibrate my scanner to but it is all in the eye of the user one has to have a known value in a scene to work from and if the end user's monitor is off all your work is in vain ken
