  15. yes Ron Hawk reminded me yesterday, and Barry's comment jogged my grey matter [what is left of it] you do not want the surprise that this fella got btw i got the site downloaded before it was pulled [oct 2002]so i was one of the offenders and made a show of the picts -picts were kind of rough - amazing what the old tugboat did it was posted later at some mirror sites still here this morn http://www.snopes.com/photos/towboat.asp http://koti.mbnet.fi/~soldier/towboat.htm Ken http://www.phule.net/mirrors/towboat-history.html The below text is from http://www.dallasbay.net/journal/journal.php. Justin, The two sites involved drew 85,000 visitors in about 2 1/2 days. I'm stuck with over $3,000.00 in over limit bills from my server owner (Rapidsite). This has become a nightmare. I'm disabled and this money will have to come out of our life savings. I only sent the site to a few friends (now ex-friends) who sent to everyone in the whole world. I've never heard of such a thing happening. Needless to say, the sites no longer exist. I did find out a lot about the incident though. The boat is the MV Cahaba owned by Warrior and Gulf Navigation of Mobile, AL. The pictures were taken by an amateur photgrapher named Barger. This happened in April, 1979 at Demopolis, AL on the Warrior River. Nobody was seriously injured and the boat continued to it's destination with the barges. To my knowledge, the boat is still in service. The bridge has since been replaced.
  16. John why not enable the navigation bar and use the arrow keys -- sounds like you would not be syncing the show and play with the mouse button settings that are available if necessary and more customizing of the nav bar are supposed to be in the future myself i always show the navbar and have full control of show and if by chance you do burn the show to dvd the navbar is not on screen and show is controlled by your remote control of dvd player ken
  17. 21 MIN 30 SECS SOLID FEED KEN
  18. here is a screenshot of another test file was 39 mb+- it was downloaded in +- 71/2 mins as can be seen the download rate was very unstable so no matter how hi you can xfer if the feed is not there you are not going to get it as fast as you would like a few months back we ran tests downloading the p2e program from the USA server and from Guido's i believe times were not equal ken
  19. but avg issued new dat files and it was put back to normal -- i had 1 gig+ put to quarantine and they all were restored -- the picts were not touched just the exe and that is a piece of cake to remake as long as you have the original pte and the pictures "Jesus Saves" what are you going to do when avast issues a bad dat file ken
  20. Ron i dont think you can put a number on your question -- it all depends on the net traffic at the moment put it up on your site and i will download it just using #'s - - forget the values of the #'s my dsl optimum conditions i can upload at 400 max hawk is on cable and he can upload 600 max to me download from MS or some of the French members p2e sites is 1800 max i am downloading 100 to 200 --all the supply is giving me uploading at present at 350 to 400 -- my max i used this site for an test example -- it is a fast server http://www.digiscopie.com/index.php?a=diaporama tho it was 6+ mb file the screen shots show what it took i then had 2 files downloading at once same site and i did a shot of my dumeter -- it looks like the max from that site is 1250+- so put up a big file to test on ken

  23. Alan welcome to the forum your idea's are good as i have quoted before "JESUS SAVES" Did you think of renaming all slides beforehand - and used a numbering system prefix ahead of the name then - you could have copied all to another folder and renamed them there with the numbering prefix intact to backcheck your collection then inserted all in numeral sequence to p2e ken
