Mark Igor has kept the size of the program so that it will fit on a floppy and has made a program that does a world of things for +- $25 dollars Granot listened to members and with the help of members developed a program to fit their needs but the exe itself is 1.6 mb with out the readme or the other pieces in the zip. and from the demo page i quote Special promotion price $ 30 US Registration is for use of one name Official price: 50 $ so my remark to your question still stands but i still think it is way down on the wish list how many times have you read " this may be a silly dumb stupid" question / idea there are NO "silly dumb stupid question/idea's" so as Ron has said do not stop posting your ideas ken

Ron xp is a totally different breed of cat than your 98 see http://www.google.ca/search?hl=en&q=%27sca...le+Search&meta= http://www.pcdon.com/page82.html I have used other windows OS' in the past and they all have a scan disk function. Where is it in XP? I have been using System Mechanic and when I do an optimized defrag, it tells me to use scan disk. HELP!!!:banghead: http://www.short-media.com/forum/archive/i...php/t-7201.html defrag, scandisk, system restore and safe mode are very important utilities i would suggest you "bone " up on them asap with the help of a competent pc tech -- get the check book out ken

my wife says i am a sucker so i always believe they are honest but when i was taking money for services rendered i had to get hard nosed at times i will tell a little story -- i used to video tape skating -- and in order to get orders out i had as many as 14 vhs and beta machines for copying -- a lady came around and wanted her money back because the tape i had sold her would not track -- so i fired up thesystem and played it in the mache that recorded it - i coded the tapes for this reason - then played it in all the rest of the vhs machines and it played perfect -- i told her it was her machine that needed adjusting - sorry no refund - she left unhappy as hell with her tape -- this instance can be related to the number of times p2e is bad named and invariably it is not the program -- the problem is PEBKAC when Igor issues a new beta and there is a problem -- just watch the threads fly -- and all related to the same problem I do not have any luck with the search endine either so what i have accumulated over the years is an index of the questions and periodically i zip them up and send them out to various members as well as to Igor so dont be surprised Jim if you get a zip full of urls:) remember my signature is written that way for a reason "share your knowledge, the wheel has already been invented" when i worked i banged my head against the wall too many times because people would not share their knowledge and it frustrated me to no end. what i miss about work is going to conventions drinkin free whiskey and trading ideas wowee what a trip it has been ken

using the above term in the search feature reveal a whole page of hits some people use it some dont i have always used it since the avi feature came about i think you would best try making 2 shows 1 with it on and one with it off right through to a finished dvd to see which is to your liking ken

I have been experimenting with digital pictures belonging to my daughters and friends -- i do not touch them other than rotate as necessary - and when i do a save as i save at 100% quality so theoriginal picture size stays the same. now these picts are anywhere from 1 mb to 2.5 mb each and by the time i put mp3's in the exe's will be 250 to 300 mb when i first started doing this with other people's digital picts i did it to see if my system could do it -- it can so i continue to do them that way to save time with all the resizing. shows are then converted to avi/mpg -- i do the mpg step to get the show on to a cd so i can proof it asap on the tv -- even I can miss a bad pict then when i am satisfied i burn to dvd they show fine on widescreen tv -- we have played with the 2 different settings on tv 4/3 and widescreen -- 4/3 is best but widescreen setting is not objectionable ken
-
at this point project options/screen set screen size at 90 to 95 % and see what your show looks like ken
-
cHAD where did you read that statement in the forum the exe must be converted first to an avi and them imported into a dvd authoring program see http://www.picturestoexe.com/forums//index...t=ST&f=4&t=1408 ken
