  7. Doug I have 2 pte shortcut icons on my desktop One is for the present installed version And the other is for various things re wnsoft Before I install a new version I cut/paste the current version install to the various things folder When install the new version, the program will install a fresh icon to the just vacated spot – I immediately rename it to the current version Close the just installed version and then test the new shortcut that it opens the just installed version using “help/about” I verify the version I then open a recent show and do a “saveas” including the ver# in the title”756_name of show” and direct the pte to the folder where the show resides The reason I have many shows installed is a habit from the old days when some of us tested many versions to help Igor get it right – by having different people, op systems, and hardware, he could soon narrow a problem down. ken

  11. STEVE PG 65/66 OF THE MANUAL project, in this case, you will have more than one page and the suitable buttons will appear on the menu. The next two buttons Redo/Undo give you an opportunity to make some changes, if you want to correct something in your menu. Nearby Redo/Undo buttons you can see the Scale button, with the help of which you can change the size of the preview window, if you want to customize it and you need another scale. The default is Auto. But you may select from 10% to 500% of the screen. As you can see from the figure below, the preview window is surrounded by dark rectangle, which shows safe TV zone. In the first picture you can see this rectange which determines the zone you won`t see on your TV. In the second picture you can`t see this zone, you just see the whole picture on you monitor. It is recommended to show TV safe zone, because it is more convenient to adjust your menu watching this zone. But if you want to switch this option off for some reason, then you should right-click on the menu and the following box will be opened. This dialog box is the same as Edit menu of this window. So you have two ways of opening it: by right-clicking on the preview window and by clicking on the Edit menu in the left upper corner of the main window. You can see several options here, almost all of them have been described already. Apply changes for each page is the option, which helps you to make all changes very quickly. If you have more than one project and more than one page in the menu and you have done some changes on the first or second page, for example, you can click on this option and these changes will be applied for all pages. After adjusting this window, press the button Next to go to the next step. When clicking, the following window for burning the disc will be opened.  First you can enter the name of your project. In our example the project is untitled, but in your project you can click on this word and enter any name you wish.  If you wish you can create MPEG2 Files, DVD Folders and an ISO image of your project. Check the boxes and just choose the folders for them on your computer.  In Burn DVD disc option the device and the speed of burning is determined
