  15. I think it was Mitch's Peru show that set off people's norton AV last time we had the problem -- lets hope Norton have got the sigs right this time Al i think that Mitch's new server runs out of oommpp at times -- pretty hot feed - sure glad my isp had upped my bandwidth and dropped the limitations ken
  16. Guido, my monitor only lists 1280/1024 1024/768 1600/1200 800/600 640/480 XP does not easily display 640/480 my ATI all in wonder does not show 1280/960 [ possibly it is a euro format?] nor does it show 640/480 when i set my res at 1024/768, the images on the screen negate the reason for buying a 19" monitor -- was the best move i ever made -- my original 15" was set at 640/480 with the win 3.1 install, when i graduated to win95 i set the screen to 800/640 -- took a bit to get used to it but i did. when the 15" was on its last legs, rather than go 17" which was the norm i paid the premium and i opted for 19" --saved my eyes. The shows i do make are all windowed 799/519 -- i do not have any complaints from people that have them and they have laptops as well as normal monitors. I have access to the all the computers in the shop i deal with and the shows always perform the way i made them -- the only exception is when i have put an oddball fault in the original show it does not show as it is not installed on the particular system. I have found that sticking to the KISS principle avoids a lot of problems. Granted my stuff is boring but i have a lot of fun making them and the intended audience enjoys them. ken
  17. Al make sure you got the full download -- took me several times to get 65.4 size /68.62 size on disk. ken

  21. Stephen should repost some of earlier works, they were all 5 of 5 star rating. He was an inspiration to many. I would show people his work and they were amazed at the quality of his photographs. ken
  22. Well Stephen, i thought maybe that new digital camera had got the best of you but i if your latest production is any indication, i guess you have mastered it. See my note to Al and JRR, you could add your show to the gift pack as well!! ken
  23. Jim see my comments i put in Al's Canada day thumbs up ken
  24. Al, it is a beauty. You and JJR should package a set up and send to Chretien -- show him what kind of talent there is in Canada ken
  25. I think some of members are forgetting that approx a year ago, Igor instituted a bar that would come on the screen when one opened a large program -- and it said the program was loading -- it did not matter how fast or how powerful your system was you would get the loading bar and one would not have to wonder whether the show was loading . When he souped up the music player back a couple months ago, this bar was not necessary as the the show would load almost immediately -- he had changed the code completely. Now if you never made a show > than 4+- mb you would never see the loading bar -- so if you want to see the loading bar go back to ver 4.0 Igor improved the program as requested by the users -- " Igor --GIVE US SPEED and all the bells and whistles we/you can think of" , now some of the users want to go backwards -- gimme a break ken
